For everyone who wants to know if their plot ranges do overlap:

https://bchain.info/BURST/tools/overlap

Just copy filenames (or output of "ls -l" or "dir") into the box.

(let me know if you like it!)

i'm not sure but my second plot is
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_12560001_14160001_8000
the first is
0 12560000
and i have this error:
Code:
Your results:
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_12560001_14160001_8000: Number of nonces (14160001) is not a multiple of stagger size (8000)
No overlapping nonces

but i think the right computation is
(14160001 - 12560001) / 8000 = 200
so i think this error " Number of nonces (14160001) is not a multiple of stagger size (8000)" it is not a real error..

dev can you explain better to let us to understand the right settings???

How can I check that mining is working correctly or working for void?
Is run_mine.bat get password for connect from pocminer_v1/passphrases.txt and then start mining?

Quick question. Seeing as BURST is a fork of NXT, does this mean that Burst now has its own Asset Exchange etc, and that these are all now part of the Burst network and not part of the NXT network anymore?

Yep, I knew who he was once I saw 2LGM (legend says he has a petabyte)

Who knows, maybe it's the DEV. If so, he deserves this. And if it is anyone else, i do envy you!  Wink
Do not hesitate to share your setup!

So... I got it running on Linux and Windows machines, but I have a question about the sync of clock.

My Windows machines don't have the exact same time even when I sync them they are some seconds delayed.
Has it to be very exactly?

With the linux machine I have no problems at all.

If someone needs help setting up his computer, pm me.

Is there a way to query balance and mining stats using CLI?
Linux Server doesn't have a GUI and Lynx doesn't seem to work with it.

Also I read that a different wallet address is needed for each external hard drive, is that true?
Or can the same wallet address be used?
What about copying this install to a laptop, and just adjusting the plot size for it, then running it, same wallet address etc.

maybe https://github.com/BurstProject/burstcoin/blob/master/src/java/nxt/http/APIServlet.java contains the commands you are looking for ...

you don't need to use differenet wallet addresses ... just ensure all you plot files are linked to your miner/plots folder ...

What command would be used on which jar?

with the wallet running:
wget -qO - http://localhost:8125/burst?requestType=getAccount&account=BURST-ADDR-GOES-HERE

Thanks, I get:

[1] 5175
/pocminer_v1$ {"errorCode":3,"errorDescription":"\"account\" not specified"}
[1]+  Done                    wget -qO - http://localhost:8125/burst?requestType=getAccount
