Does anyone know if a java classpath variable needs to be set?

I keep getting this error:

Is it worth to create lower nnonces? Or just create from 100k? i only wanna use 4GB but i wanna mine some coin what are you thiunk?

4gb is.. not a lot. Be prepared to do a whole lot of waiting, but hey, you might just get lucky! Simply start creating from 0, I don't assume there's any difference in 'efficiency' on higher nonces, unless you actually have more (size)
The amount of nonces you can generate on 4gb is around.. 1600. So you'll be at a pretty big disadvantage compared to some of the 10TB+ miners.

I know 4GB is not much ,but i not have 100$ for new HDDs and my HDDs are working fine so i not wanna get another. Who invest more get more back. This is the problem with every cryptocoin. There should be a coin where the lower hashrate get more coin. And is there somebody who know what is deadline means?

Lower hashrate, more coin? Interesting... people would just throttle their devices Cheesy But yes, making money with cryptocurrency is quite.. investment-based, unless you already own a good (gaming) pc... until ASICs come into play for said coin. Luckily that won't be a problem here.
The 'Deadline' is assigned to you every block when it has not been found. If the block has not been found by anyone before the deadline passes, it will be given to the first person to reach the deadline (ie the person who had the lowest deadline number assigned to them). This is derived from something but I don't know what. It's been said earlier in this topic though.

Well >10000k deadline is littlbit too much.

Lol... lower hashrate gets more... interesting concept, but I doubt it will ever take off. Tongue

For those buying/selling, are you using escrow services? Any recommendations?

Also, if anyone wants to pm to me their info on buys/sells, I'll put together a price chart to see how things look so far. Just need amount, price traded (sat/burst), date/time. No IDs will be used.

One last thing... While I was messing around I started a second run_generate starting at 0 as well, I didn't let it run very long, but it did start... will that have caused any issues?

I guess basically all I need to know, is how to add more hard drive space to the mining... or whatever you would call it...

Do I start over with 800001, or do I make a new one with 64000000 or something else larger?

If on the same drive, then you would simply start another generation beginning with the plot number after your last one (taken from the plot folder).

If on a second drive, you will have to generate a new series of plots (so you can start at 0 again) and then start a new instance of the miner on that drive...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I saw somewhere (way) up thread that stated if you have two separate drives (and instances) mining to the same wallet, then the plot numbers should not overlap, i.e. they both shouldn't go from 0-800000, but instead one from 0-800000 and the other from 800001 to 160000.

Is my external IP actually supposed to show up in the 'peers' section of my wallet? Because if so, I'm doinitrong.

Yes, basically. 800000 generated nonces is about 200gb, since they're 256kb a piece. You can make multiple plots by upping the numbers in run_generate, thereby increasing your used space in total, or you can choose to make one giant plot by calculating how many space you're willing to use and how much nonces you'll need to fill said space, and then inputting those numbers in run_generate.

So, once my test 800000 is finished generating, I can start another one with a larger number, and that won't affect the one that I already started? Or will I have to start it at a number above 800000 in order for it to not ruin what I have already generated?

Your last nonce generated +1 should be the starting point you put in run_generate, so if your last nonce is 800000 you input 800001. You just keep upping the number to generate more nonces (and plots). You can also generate a huge plot at the same time by replacing 800000 by, say, 8000000 (8m). This would use about 2TB. (Unless there's a size limitation I'm unaware of!)

They should only be utilized while scanning during mining, there will not be much resource used 90% of the time (once your generation process is done).
