this makes no sense, no community as no one in theyr right minds will go trought all the trouble,

also only people here are sellers, like the clam crap , all will sell no buys.

the way this is heading only a small amount of people are going to get the coins and dump them asap... like 2-3 pool owners i heard already.

nice idea, but too complicated for most, easier to make a coin then mine this one lol.

ill pass but good luck

Actually, it is easyer to mine than most gpu coins, once you get the hang of it; it just becomes normal, the dev is upfront and honest, that in its own right is why I like this coin.

Step 7: Double click the run_generate .bat file and a command window should open, and you should see the computer begin to start creating plots, beginning with whatever you specified in your file.

hi,kspinner.
I have followed the step 1-6,
step 7:I can't see a window open.what's wrong with it?
thanks.

open up the file in a text editor and add "pause" at the end / on a new line, if there is a error it will be displayed instead.

this coin is a perfect new way to mine ,,,totally innovative

Would be if the direction were more clear and explicit. Still very unclear and I hope I'm running it right, haven't found a block and/or submit a share since starting, for the first time, yesterday.

Also, would be nice if this would scale more on RAID setups.

Well to know you're doing it right, what does your mining log hold ?

For what it is worth to those watching the miner display. Just got my 7th block and the deadline was 122. I imagine the deadline will need to pretty low at this point.
How many GB do you have atm?

355 GB

Long process to get the plots set up.

Keep in mind most of my blocks came early when I am sure the competition was lite.

E:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate *myaccountnumber* plot#tostartwith=1* *plot#toendwith=800000*

just says invalid args..... where am I going wrong here......

Code:
java.exe -Xmx1000m -cp pocminer.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer.POCMiner generate your_address_replace_it 1 10000 500 5
Plot size: 10000 * 256kB = ~2.5GB
5 - threads

Are those threads cpu or the application's thread? Still kind of unclear about it. Is that the proper plot size? I have a 500gb drive I'm testing this algo out with.

I see lots of 'willing to sell' statements.  Anybody actually make a deal?  If so what price did you get/pay?

sold 10k burst for 10k sats, fair price considering the efforts to get one block
Really? I think that most people could get a block in a day or two with some effort.  Some people have 10+ blocks.  Even at 1 block a week that is 4 BTC a month for mining with one machine.
i think you've done very well to get that price.  I'd happily sell at 10k sats all day.  I'll expect to buy them at no more than 1k pretty soon
Id happily sell for anything above 2k satoshis

Submitting share
{"result":"deadline: 165"}
{"height":"376","generationSignature":"1d45c8d0c13e55a49cd967f2
65ceb7ytytry45764d78e87"}

deadline 165 and no block
What does the deadline number mean?

I believe it is the number of seconds until the block is yours. Unless someone else claims it faster.

At least he's submitting shares. I haven't since I start 24 hours ago, a share and/or block. Maybe I have the settings wrong and/or because I'm running this via a 500GB ext drive, as the dev suggested running it USB 3.0 or a similar throughput interface.

dev should award some bitcoin or some burst coin for who design the icon,  every one can submit an icon drawn by himself in this place, and the best one chosen to be the icon of busrt coin , a better icon makes a great coin Grin

it did ! i found when i submit a new share , the deadline will decrease. i think when you reached some number shares
, the block is yours

deadline does not decrease, deadline is resulted from hash based on ur address and possible nonce, the more nonce u got, higher chance that ur deadline is smaller.

there are no thing such as number of share, u always put one share each block, on every share u have deadline value, if other has lower deadline, then u willl never get a chance to found a block on current block

How do you tell it to generate those plots on another drive.  My java in installed in my primary drive and it only wants to plot there where there isn't enough room the VM it says.  Need to plot on my E drive.

difficulty adjustment will maintain so that blocktime is 240 secs, so if ur deadline is less than 240 its always there will be huge chance for block creation
