All users should update as soon as possible.

Fixed some AT bugs which could cause the blockchain to get stuck. Also changed a check during block generation which was causing some things to get skipped as duplicates when the thing they conflicted with wasn't passing validation. This should help with the problems some users have been having with reward assignments recently.

can i reuse burst_db data or i need to resync from scratch???

currentrly i have burst 1.2.0 wallet

thanks!!!

You can reuse it

Great! Added new wallet version to http://burstcoin.eu download section.

@Elmit: This link should work on the command line: http://burstcoin.eu/download/1-start-burst-wallet-(official)

wget http://burstcoin.eu/download/1-start-burst-wallet-(official)
-bash: syntax error near unexpected token `('

;-( not exactly correct ;-(

but this seems to work:
wget http://burstcoin.eu/download/1-start-burst-wallet-\(official\)
mv 1-start-burst-wallet-\(official\) burst_1.2.1.zip
unzip burst_1.2.1.zip

northern exposure
  • setting "nxt.enableDebugAPI=true"
  • go to http://127.0.0.1:8125/test?requestTag=DEBUG and click clearUnconfirmedTransactions
  • deleted the burst_db folder and resync
  • w8 24h at least
  • check it again, if is not 100% empty about unconfirmed transactions, do it again.

pd: dont try to set another reward assignments before the 100% unconfirmed transactions are cleared.

Same problem here

I have tried to switch away from urays SG pool for ~2 weeks now, still 0 confirmations.. I have waited everything from a few hours to several days before trying again.

Any solutions to this or should we all just keep trying and hope it eventually works?

did you follow all those steps?, the first time i did it i was thinking that this will not work, because again and again i had lot of unconfirmed transactions, try to follow all those steps and w8 at least 24h before try again the clearUnconfirmedTransactions step if you still have some unconfirmed transactions.

You simple don't want my money, heh...? Well, I'll give it another try Wink

We need help from the community! So why not a little competition hehe

A Second Competition
What we need is
1) a better presentation on the Twitter account (winner submission will get 10,000 burst
2) a list of tweets about burst (selected winners will get 2,000 burst, where the maximum payout from us is 50,000 burst)

Competitors are allowed to submit how many suggestions they want, but only the onces picked will be paid. Proper English is not a prerequisite, the team will handle that (not me Wink )

How to participate
Please do not post your submissions in the thread, as that might be against the rules of bitcointalk. Instead:
1) email your BURST address, 2) your name on bitcointalk and 3) your suggestions. The email address is  [email protected]
2) cope/paste the exact text from the email and PM them to me here at bitcointalk. If you do not both email and PM your answer will be out of competition.

Please note that a tweet and a presentation can be no longer than 150 characters!

Good luck, have fun - and please help BURST!

BURST Community PR team

Bump!

Also, sent you my suggestion to break the ice Smiley

Hi, I have unconfirmed transaction even after many blocks on set reward assignments. Please check the image attached. I have deleted the burst_db folder and resync, and also setting "nxt.enableDebugAPI=true", restart the client, go to http://127.0.0.1:8125/test?requestTag=DEBUG and click clearUnconfirmedTransactions. But 2 methods with no clue. Any solution? Thanks!

https://i.imgur.com/LYjGOTH.png

Any help? I cannot set reward assignments with the unconfirmed transaction stucked.  Sad

same happend to me some days agoo, if you already did it just w8 24h or so and check it again, should be more "empty" or 100% empty, if this is not empty 100% do it again and w8 another 24h.

As i say i got the same issue some days agoo and for me it works, take some time yes, but finally it works.

good luck and tell us i for you it works Wink

to made things more clear what i did was:

  • setting "nxt.enableDebugAPI=true"
  • go to http://127.0.0.1:8125/test?requestTag=DEBUG and click clearUnconfirmedTransactions
  • deleted the burst_db folder and resync
  • w8 24h at least

I get "File XXXXX Locked" errors while mining with blagos on all five of my plots (on five hard drives), right at 99%. This doesn't happen all the time, but happens on occasion (like 20% of the time).

Error occurs because of a problem in windows 7 memory menagement. The system tries to cache the entire file into memory, it causes a lack of memory.
Split your plots by 100-200 Gb & merge the plots.

Quote
I added a bit extra onto the plot (number of nonces) as I wasn't exactly sure how to calculate the full file size of the drive when I plotted it and let it error out when it hit it. As per the google doc, I renamed the doc to the plot size / 262,144. This however gives me a decimal number and you can't use a decimal number so I just lopped it off, which seems to work besides the file locked. Not sure if the 'file locked' error message relates to this though.

I also set my stager size to 8192, which is exactly the amount of memory I have (8GB). Could this also be causing it?

replot damaged files and merge them. Stager size (8192) does not matter if you do then merging.
gpuPlotGenerator.exe generate buffer h:\plots\xxxxxxxxxxxxxx_start_count_stagger

count = integer_number * stagger   (409600 = 100 * 4096)
for example:
1. gpuPlotGenerator.exe generate buffer h:\plots\17930413153828766298_0_409600_4096
2. optimize.exe 17930413153828766298_0_409600_4096

Quote
As per your screenshot, I don't have a display on the miner that shows thread/sec/files like yours. It doesn't display that.

add to config:
"Debug": true,

I'm using Win 8.1 x64, I probably should've said that right away.

I was told that if you plot files with more nonces then the HD can hold, the plotter just errors out, but the files are good? I don't have more then one plot on each HD, just one per HD.

I also get 'fast block or corrupted file' once or twice per 'mine' too. It doesn't happen on the same plots and it seems random.

http://burstcoin.mku.name:8080 feature update:
  • showing MA21 instead of MA50
  • MA21 and MA7 are now displayed in the chart in area-style
  • blockreward is displayed in the chart now
  • MA7 is displayed in the sum-tables
  • calculation is now done up to today and not the last day with transactions/blocks

Great Job! Just a question. What do MA21,MA50 & MA7 stand for ?
Seems related to statistical data analysis but I can't figure it out & their importance !
