I like the existing logo better.  Combining it with hard drive imagery would be clever, though.

I'm a miner not a minor.
Today bittrex disabled burstcoin wallets. Anyone know why?

Maybe they are upgrading?

I'd say 3+4
3 is way more similar to an HDD, 1 seems like an arrow

What about a combination of numbers 1 and 4

The burst B from 4 with the surrounding accents from 1?

Which ones do you like? Any ideas on how to improve the logos are welcome.
Logos are in public domain.

If dev approves one of these logos, designer can create more graphics based on it.

If you want to support his work, his BURST account is: BURST-6MZ2-6MH9-U5AX-FNMJX
Thanks!

Very very good designer! let me see....

Simply taking advantage of the network effect for one.

Would help the price if more people know about it

What network effect?  How would it help more people to know about it?

I would assume with more people knowing=more people buying=more people holding=Higher market cap

On a side note: I'm no good of a coder, so I'm going to ask. Can someone work on the BURST Market Explorer UI? It would be nice if the layout was easier to view, maybe consolidate the listings to prevent spamming(currently a few). Ok, thanks

Any thoughts on joining the XC Blocknet (or even NXT SuperNet) ?

Any industry goes through consolidation as it matures. Maybe even the cryptocurrency market will one day wake up and ask, "Is there a need for 4000 altcoins?"

It would get Burst known to a wider audience and I think small cryptos without a huge amount of development will not be able to compete with these new upcoming "ecosystems".

audience is not created it comes naturally.

Or audience is aggressively sought and gains benefit simply from the network effect and getting a big audience first.

We had facebook and myspace. Even if facebook was not technically better it got the widest audience first, and everybody started using it simply because everybody else was using it. Myspace faded to obscurity.

Currency are even worse/better for being used simply because of their network effect AND MARKET CAP. They're more useful with a higher market cap because they're more liquid.

How does the blocknet/supernet improve the coin's utility?

Simply taking advantage of the network effect for one.

Would help the price if more people know about it ( I know the price is not the coin/protocol whatever but it would certainly help with popularity if Burst was in the top 20 of Crypto Market Cap's website or something instead of not even being on the first page).

There's probably other advantages I can't think of right now.

Someone pointed out you could just go solo if things were going bad. I see upside but no downside.

It was discussed earlier, though I seen no definitive conclusions on the issue.

Though past is no guarantee of future, I do think it serves as a useful reference. It is typical for all new industries to go through the process of consolidation. Such platforms are almost a necessity. I think Burst should be a part of those initiatives, hell we can always pull out if it goes the wrong way and continue solo/switch to some other initiative. Burst does have strong points to bring to the table and would suit such interfacing, as Blocknet proposes, very nicely.

well sadly this isn't a solution ... yes it will "try" to free ram but sometimes it simply doesn't free enough and other heavy ram hoggers which actually need to use it get aborted.

eg. it's impossible to run certain gpu miners while mining burst

In the latest version of your miner I got following error message in red, after some time running it asks actually if some plot (plot nr changes) is locked(?)
and this message is repeated (miner gets stuck) until I actually restart the miner. Is there a way to fix that or force the miner to restart automatically?
