Maybe we could change the title from Burst | Efficient POC Mining   to   Burst | Efficient HDD Mining? Make it easier to understand.

I second that one!!

Is there ANY pool that pays even close to calculator ?
calculator is not accurate, it is calculate by difficulty, but changes every time, may be you will see 6800TB at the moring, but 4800 at the after noon
the coin you mined in uray or dev pool can explain the average amount of total tb, that is accurate

Yes, I know, but having 300 burst/day with 4Tb space is far less than 3000 that calc says.

I never receive the confirmation mails for burstforum.com/, anyone else had problems with that? Who could I contact for a possible resolution?

I signed up over 3 weeks ago and still can't receive a confirmation email

Same here

Try again, i know someone couldn't get in with a hotmail, but gmail worked. Personnally(Personally Wink), it just worked first time with my gmail. So try with a gmail. Have i said "gmail" enough?

Edit: I never spell personally correctly!!!

You don't "help", but picture if you were down in a REAL gold mine. Probably you're going to get a salary whether you find some or not. If you do find some you don't get a bigger salary, but when you don't, well you still keep your job.

OK, bad analogy. But it's kind of like a salesman in a shop. If you sell, say a 64" UHD tv, well you get a lot of money(let's say the big tv is finding the block). However, if you sell a toaster, you still get something(say this is a share which is a wee way off a deadline).

OK, that's 2 bad analogies, but hey, that might just explain it Wink

Thanks a lot for the explanation, it's way much clear in my head now  Smiley

You do. You get a big bit of it, but just like when you get a piece of someone else's block for your shares, they get a piece of yours.

So if i understand well, when mining in pool i help other resolve the blocks that their account generate and vice versa ?

But why is the pool getting the reward for my account generated block ? That's not fair  Sad
This should be independent no ? Anyway to get a part of the reward for the block that MY account has generated ?

What does happen when my account generate a block ? Do i get a reward or something? just got one of theses showing onto my account

Yeah....If you're solo mining then i guess you get 9500 BURST + tx fees(i think, not sure about tx fees :/). If on a pool, well then the pool is pretty happy Wink
