Hmmm, is it required for mining that the number of nonces in a plot is a multiple of the stagger size I'm using...? Or will the plot still be read/included/work when running the miner?

It needs to scan 1/4096th of the data each block. Thats 256MB/TB
Thanks for answering questions. How often do scans run? Is it every hour? Does it rescan everything or is that when it's first plotting?
How exactly does plotting work? Someone else was talking about it a bit up. Does it only run once? What happens if you lose one of your drives, does it affect your wallet?

Hi everyone, first time posting but I've been following along.
I recently started the solo mining, but I think I may be doing it wrong (lol).
So my mining file is actively moving along and will say things like "New best: (myaddress):xxxx submitting share result success and a deadline.
Now my concerns come from my address, even though it displays on the screen and my passcode is correct, my address file is empty and I'm seeing no activity in my wallet. Is this normal?
Also my most recent nonce number is 212003, and they've been going up by 1000 increments. Is there anything else I should be looking out for? I started off solo because I didn't want to ask for a seed to join the pool mining, but if anyone wouldn't mind I'd appreciate it

Burst crashes on C-Cex. 
Well. If you're not a newbie:
-3 millions+ coin mined every day
-2 billions coins total
-No investor
-Only miner
-Millions of burst on c-cex deposit.
What do you expect from a Coin of completely new and inovativ. He immediately brings with it a huge bag of features?
It still lacks detail work, then you can think about future developments.
The coin has a huge potential, very good community and everyone is talking about him.
Just because the price falls even that is not equal to the end. But you must also bring some patience.
I firmly believe in the burst and sell only small quantities. And only at a good price.

-Only miner
-Millions of burst on c-cex deposit.
I sold my coins already.
BURST will go down to 300, then 250, then 200 and so on ... I'll buy later.

Thanks, i followed exactly what u told me. I m now plotting and mining. I'm getting the message " Error reading file : 1231543_0_13215465_1000 No valid shares to submit to pool", it's normal right?
BTW i saw you mentioning about the pool ip. My config is this.
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\java -cp pocminer_pool.jar;lib/*;lib/akka/*;lib/jetty/* pocminer_pool.POCMiner mine http://127.0.0.1:8125 http://178.62.39.204:8121

You can mine while you'r generating plots
But on tutorial its saying I have to generate plots on solo miner first and then move them in folder with pool miner . So how I am supposed to do this while its still generating ?
Or you can copy the pool miner
Just copy two files will do right? The poolminer and bat file?
I copied all files and folders: except the plots folder and the run_generate bat file.
I am on uray's pool and I believe that there are differences in the source (lib should be ok) folder and the pocminer.jar
BTW i saw you mentioning about the pool ip. My config is this.

Hey guys so I just wanna know If im doing all right. My 6 tb hdd just generating something and its done 5000 from 20 800 000. I feel like im gonna wait 1 month before I can even start mine 
. Isnt 5 TB plot a little bit much ? Should I make any little smaller ? And can I even start pool mining when I generate plots on solo miner?

Now is the time to look to features. The worst thing to do is panic.
Just relax, make a TA of the charts, and plan out your next trade.

BTW additional and maybe kinda stupid question - what gonna happend when I stop run_generate file and miner ? Will it continue from where it stopped or I will have to repeat whole process from the start ? Ill need stop generating for an hour because of work and ofc I dont wanna lose all my progress.
No you do not need to start over if you stop. Before you stop it make note of the last nonce that it wrote as that will be displayed. When starting the run_generate up again simply increment that number by 1 and it will create a new file where you left off, this will be the number after your account. Do not be alarmed when you see the miner say error on that old file, it will still be utilized properly.
it's harder to tell that with the c++ version, only the %is displayed, if i stop it i need to do the % of the total space, but it may be wrong

When you restart make sure you start at a nonce higher than the one you were at when you killed the generation.
The first file that wasn't finished will keep giving you a error reading file message but will still be usable.
Don't restart the rungenerate with the same paramaters or you will loose all progress.

If i set out to plot 800000 (200 gb) and my file name is xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_0_800000_1000 but i stop at 400000 (100 gb) should i rename my file to xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx_0_400000_1000 or it doesn't matter ?

You might as well take your 200 GB and wipe your ass with it, that is nowhere near enough to mine on. It's ok to learn the set up and get practice, but don't expect any coins from it.
Done being nice I see. Your attitude is very odd to me.
I have a server with 800GB running on the V2 pool and I get payouts from it. A 200GB can get payouts as well it will just take a bit of time.
Try and keep it civil man.
