The price went up 5x, then leveled out about 3x what it was 2 months ago, I call this a success. Much more coming in the near future, take this as an opportunity to buy at the lows, I know I have.

From the OP I was thinking that BURST was a new coin.....

but in fact it had been introduced 2 years ago on BIttrex...

so this is certainly not a new coin ;-)

Anyway, interested to undertand this mining concept

I try to make my head around this coin which I just discovered.
The OP did not help me much to understand deeper...

Possibly due to english langage barrier :-), I don't really understand the process
while using a HDD and in fact the most important quetison is:

What would I need as a solo miner as equipment to start mining this BURST?

The win client doesn't offer solo mining, but when you are ready to get your hands dirty you can configure blago's miner to solo mine. You have to start it directly without the client afterwards, because it would overwrite made changes again:
