Yes, many seem to gravitate to the pool with the largest hash rate because the payouts are more frequent and consistent. even if they are really getting a raw deal.

We don't apply at pools. They're entirely separate from us and decide whether or not they want to list. If you're finding that you're not getting the amount of coins you should be, I would highly suggest just switching pools so you don't have to worry about it.
