40kH/s? when was that? launched day? Smiley
last time i checked, the network hashrate was just over 3kH/s and now it's 7.63.
I can increase this hashrate for more than a 100%, (i guess). Currently, i am CPU mining Lyra2re with 13Mh/s and imagine if i set all that machine to mine Bitcedi. Right now i use 4 low-end PC to mine BXC and got 300-400h/s (fluctuating).

No, well after launch, maybe two or three weeks ago I think. I guess probably some of it then and now is spill over from Monero, whose hashrate has been increasing steadily, so maybe people already mining cryptonight looking for something else.

Diff creeping back up. No blocks on my crappy lappy for like a day now. I'll give the 32 bit GUI a try at some point soon.

Anyone want to chat, me and ChanServ are hanging out in #bitcedi on freenode Cheesy

diff has doubled from the first time i mined, and that was just a few days ago. Cheesy
And still, no update from the dev, no other exchange.

If i'm not mistaken, you're the same jwinterm from Monero IRC right?

The one and only (I think). If you came by in middle of the night, I got disconnected, but will keep the channel open while I'm online, which is most of the time.

Diff was much higher a couple weeks ago. I don't remember diff but network hashrate got up to like 40 kH/s.

I can see a lot of complains about this coin, but the guy who is obviously from Africa, setted up a pool, a pretty decent website, a fork on the wallet, and is updating the miners every other days. Should we not be a bit patient and give the dude some credit, for now ?

Yeah, i guess you're right.
i was rude to said all that, i guess i was just too hasty to see any development.

Hi Guys,

Has any of you tried mining this coin with a Rasperry PI (1, 2, or 3), what is the hashrate you are getting ?

I confirm 32bit wallet works.
Checking the 64bit version.
To add, winxp is not supported.

yeah, it seems to me that the x64 version in win 10 is somewhat buggy. the wallet made my pc unresponsive and the last restart made it lost its boot record, so i had to reformat. I also had to retrieve my wallet so I install another OS on another drive to get it. Then there is just 1 file that i failed to transfer, something like block.dat. so i guess it has to be it. My PC was running fine until then.
Quad-core w/ 8GB RAM is too much for just a wallet, right?

I'm back and i'll be using the x86 version for now. Cheesy
