We(Read:I) are writing a game from the GROUND up.
Our team isn't huge. I am the only programmer, and i have to split my tasks up between wallet, game, real life, labor ready.
So I do work as much as I can, but they have a team of scripters.
I have to write an entire backend for the game, and when i say backend i mean a master server from scratch. the C2 integration.
Also making sure we aren't going to be hacked by Keyboard warriors(scriptkiddies);
This is peoples money that basically all falls back on me if it is something stupid these kids
can get away with cause I am the only one checking over the code.
Seriously making a game from the ground up takes years even with a game engine already there.
Big companies have budgets of MILLIONS of Dollars yet a game still takes tens of Thousands of man hours to complete.
So just put that into perspective a bit.
If it takes big companies millions of dollars and thousands of man hours how is it possible that you can pull this off on your own? Don't get me wrong I support C2.1 and have a considerable stake and appreciate all your hard work but it just seems like an undoable task.
