This is the time to solve the problem, Not to create problems. I too bought C2 and holding them, we are waiting for a perfect solution.

Congratulations on reaching page 100!

So I understand that new PoS Coin2 will be created. The only way to get this coin will be on Bittrex exchange by trading old PoW Coin2 with the ratio 1:1.

Anybody knows if something like this have been done with any other coin before? Or is this something new in the crypto world?

my suggestion!

1. coins on exchange: leave all change-over to exchanges! let them do the works.

2. coins in wallet: deposit to bittrex, and let bittrex do the change

3. extend the change-period

Maybe i am wrong, but i think all things will be done soon.

Valid point. I propose Joel try to talk to Bittrex on extension the transfer a bit longer due to some try hold coins for longer term and didn't quite often check the update regularly may missed what had happen and it also help ease on excessive larger amount of C2 flow out of exchange like Bter in a very short period of time that hard for them to monitor or perhaps helps nap the perpetrator.

So the developer plans on cashing all the unclaimed coins from the "new" Coin2? In all certainty if you give people just 2 days, at least 20-30% of all coins will not be transferred to bittrex for the transfer.

We chose Bittrex because they are based in America, answer our emails and have a team of competent people that a few of us have talked to in the past. They didn't pay us any money for this to happen.

To clear up a bit of the confusion
correct me if I am wrong
also post on OP so everyone can find easily

1. a 51% attack was succesful on april 7th because of small/weak POW network
2. dev asks all exchanges to freeze trading
3. dev decides to change to POS which will be new Coin2
4a. current wallet is being modified
4b. new wallet is being developed right now for new Coin2
5. when wallet ready dev will realease new wallet and ask exchanges to unfreeze old coin2
6. people can transfer their old Coin2 to bittrex in exchange for new Coin2
7. exchange of old > new will happen when all coins are in the exchnage

few questions
a) new Coin2 POS will then generate more supply other than the 50M ?
b) what will be the stake percentage ?
c) WOULD it help if at the time of the transfer 6.
people kept their local wallets open to strengthen the network ?
or with the new wallet realease (old coin2) the coin will already be POS ?
