Watching the prices fall on all bouncy coins simply because of Kimoto Gravity Well fixing to a degree the difficulty exploits is sad.

SmartCoin, DigiByte, EarthCoin, Coino and almost all others  .. there is no way in hell the price of these coins can recover simply because the auto-switching pools don't stay on them long enough now to artificially inflate the hashing power.

We need CASH coin to succeed, it is the antidote to auto-switching pools.

well on the upside, diff exploitation leads to a very volatile market. without pump n dump the coin will have a more stabilized value making it a good candidate for preservation of value. the coin will grow naturally with an increase of new investors when hashpower is low. as it is the supply and demand for cashcoin atm is very balanced. so as demand grows so will the price and the hashpower will follow when miners see the growth potential. we just need to get more people out of the mindset of quick pumpndump coins and to start looking at coins with real longterm investment potential. if any coin can sit with btc and be a replacement for btc it is cryptocash.

in other news, i have some info coming soon from a microsoft dev about the Point of Sale addons for their retail software. a friend of mine. we should also start looking at getting cryptocash accepted on some online stores. how hard would it be for our dev to code a merchant for cash like bitpay? let's give cash some serious independence as well by getting it traded directly for usd. all these things will make cash very strong. and im here helping with that because i believe it is a top contender for real investment and longterm growth. if we all like these ideas then we can put them in the list of future projects and tackle them one by one during the course of the next few months. possibly monthly projects so we have a new announcement each month for new developments.

Is it possible to do something to fix the chat box?  I try to hang there as much as possible to help new users, but i'm always logged out for no reason. I Often don't see new message until I log out, refresh the page and log in again.  It's hard to help people when I don't see their message before they quit  Wink

+1
Shouldn't auto-log in either, makes it confusing for new users who don't realise they can register by logging out and logging in to register Smiley

don't pump or even start pump until already on coinmarket cap.... also let's us have a bit more time to mine without everyone crashing in.

Ok so how about coinmarketcap?

Yeah i think on coinmarket cap first would be best.

First a couple of robust block explorers, and working (new) wallet. Then Coinmarketcap.

The working consumer software is now a priority if we want to move forward. I guess that the PoS coupled with the tx fees complicate the wallet. All the PoS coins I have used (HBN,PHS,CGB,BTG) needed a lot of wallet updates, and are still slow compared with PoW.

Most of those other coins frequent updates were due to check pointing with our check pointing server we will likely not require as many if any updates if any for some time after version 1.1. We used a lot of the lessons learned from the exact coins you mentioned. BTG being the first then cloned to CAP then the clones from CAP to HBN, PHS and CGB (and more)

Anyhow watching the progress and evolution of those coins and getting advice from some of the great Stake developers we believe we will not need the constant updates these required (since they began with an inherent flaw) but hey who knows they are beta after all hehe.

Wallet 1.1 (downloaded from Github). I am not getting any connections at all after several hours. Added nodes, config file at the outset... Redownloaded and tried again. Any suggestions ??

i am guessing you have cash.conf with all required nodes placed into it in your roaming\cash folder? are you on windows or linux? if on windows7 be sure to rightclick cash-qt and select "properties" then "unblock".

Thanks for reply...Win7...On another machine it is working now. Curious.. Possibly difference is 32 to 64 bit.  Will check that.

Thanks to Varvarin, i have started mining cash a few days ago. I think if btc will get a rise and reaches around 800$, cash would become a hit. ANywayz, I'm positive;) though i don't know much.

Updated the bounties with the latest donations.

Honestly, no offense to whoever did the Coin graphic, but it looks extremely similar to a 1980's video game arcade token.  It isn't terrible per say, but it might not be something that can attract the whale money that the coin needs.  There should probably be some kind of bounty for exploratory work on a new coin icon.

A few options:

A)  Some kind of stylized, cartoon image like how Dogecoin uses.  Possibly a money bag sitting on top a pile of coins, pictured on a coin, with the letters CASH or Crypto Cash appearing above or below the picture as I was talking about in this thread:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5198548

B)  Something like a futuristic logo that spells out the words "Crypto Cash" on a coin.  Some kind of graphical representation appearing with the logo is important.  The money bag idea can be dropped and instead just have some silver coins appear under, above, or behind the logo.  It just has to be something immediately recognizable in the same way trademarks are.

It just has to be something that when a guy holding $10,000 or more in his pocket see's it, he's going to want to invest in it.  The video game token type look probably doesn't work for that.

It sounds insane, but price will at least double once the logo issue has been sorted since it's already highly undervalued.

there is so much shrouding this coin's potential atm. we who read the original post and took the time to understand what it is we have here know that it is a real diamond in the rough. the technology and innovative coding design of this coin and wallet makes it stand out above every single coin on the market. by the end of the year many will wish they could get cash for .00015/20 again. if not sooner.

Got to find out how far my design guru got with his ideas. Like all good artists he is not very reliable but will get the best job done.

Don't worry folks, a professional designer and marketeer is on the job.

Going to have a pro designer and a pro online gambling sites developer. Designer is near me, but dev is in Italy .. so not easy to keep in touch, but we never had a need to. Will speak tonight when we play Age of Conan .. hehe. He is going to love it!

Great activity and collaboration in the thread today. Good to see so many in the community coming together to get things going. Seems like we should have some MAC wallets, and ABE explorer and maybe a casino very soon great stuff great coin.

Things pick up whenever you post bud.
Like it or not, right or wrong, your activity here dictates how well we do.
The more we achieve as a community to develop the infrastructure more skilled folks and investors we'll attract and it'll continue to snowball.

Update on wiki.
Had some more help today from Coinler I think it was (sorry if that's wrong on phone cba to check), will hopefully have a page ready to be checked for inaccuracies by the end of the week for submission to the Wikipedia reviewers to get it live. We'll all the be able to keep it up to date with useful information then instead of relying on a handful of folks.

If anyone watches videos on crypto news or reads articles, be sure to mention CASH, the more we influence the big influences, the better (just don't spam them or it'll counter the progress).

Catch y'all after work... In 18 hours or so Smiley

That's cool, I'll chuck him a cash coin for his services Wink

I was kidding btw dude (hence the hidden /troll), you really don't need to justify anything to me Smiley

Are accountants really as boring and selfish as they're portrayed by the general populace? Cheesy

hehe I never take anything seriously on teh INternets  Wink This guy is also sick of his work making others rich, he gets paid pretty bad considering how good he is .. buyers market his field. And he will do this for free, has a team of 4-5 workers. He is actually a game developer in a dead end job, time to work him up to do something with passion.

But Yes, accountants are boring, mainly as we don't really have nice days in the office, Excel and accounting software, head down .. neck hurting work and occasionally we get to meet with really dumb people who think they can do what we do and insist on telling us ..   I have to make mining work for me. Time to stop telling others how to do their job  Cool
