Also, before a forecaster receives weight greater than 0 he/she should collect statistics first. So those who use it as a guessing machine do not harm forecasts.
Phew is great to know my guessing hasn't hurt the stats. I have just been playing with the App, punting on Shares I don't really know anything about, looking for the Cryptocurrency forecasts their the ones I really like to focus on!

Hello! What makes you think that it is a guessing machine? Did you download our app?
This is how it works:
1. Cindicator creates questions in the mobile app.
2. Forecasters make their prediction on the daily basis, answering a number of specific questions about price levels of different financial assets, macroeconomic indexes, and events significantly influencing the market.
3. Right after the question closed (deadline), the artificial intelligence system synthesizes accurate forecasts using machine learning algorithms based on the accumulated statistics predicted by forecasters.
Machine learning models dynamically calculate various weights for each forecaster, identify stable systematics in their errors and calculate corrections for the errors, eliminate noise, and generate final predictions and trading signals.
So where is the fancy guessing machine?

Will the cindicator analytics also include ICOs?
Yes, for example ICO ratings, market condition analysis, ICO due diligence, investor portfolio analysis etc.
Thus this makes any difference in choosing the best ICO because right now there are many ICO's launching with all nonsense. With this features, we can make some difference in the ICO strategy based on ICO rating.
Are we able to check whether the ICO can potentially be a scam dev team?
Several of this incidents already happened in the past making it scary to dive into ICO. And bonuses of over 20% for early investors in presale is lucrative.
I definitely think we are. My personal check-list, for example: 1) Company should have a working product/s; 2) Company should invest own or VC/angels money before ICO; 3) Check social profiles of all team members and advisers; 4) early-stage company should not raise $10M+ during ICO
Nice checklist, I would add it's ideal if the business already exist and is making a profit, or at least at it's bare minimum its have a strong proof of concept that already exists

Hello! Totally different companies. We have an application when users make their predictions daily, answering a number of specific questions about price levels of different financial assets, macroeconomic indexes, and events significantly influencing the market.
Examples:
Create a forecast of the minimum and maximum price levels of Bitcoin for the upcoming seven days.
Will the Tesla stock price surge to $345 during the market hours on Friday?
Will the U.S. unemployment rate be greater than or equal to 4.5%, according to the June 2 report?
Will Bancor collect more than $100M during the first week of ICO?
Then it’s the artificial intelligence algorithm’s turn: it aggregates the forecasters’ predictions into a single one, determining which action should be taken and with what parameters.
Coindash is more like eToro for crypto markets, isn’t it?
So different data, different tech approaches, different business models. Hope my reply makes sense

Question: What does this mean?

Also noteworthy is the fact that this strategy works well on the short side too short selling brought almost twice as much pro t as longs (buying an asset), 22.31% vs. 13.96%, which is recognized as a solid gain in a bull market.
Question: Is your point above that anyone holding BC would have made money (13.96%) in the market at this time however with the cindicator AI and ML a docile trader is enabled to trade (more aggressively) and not just take the long position on all respective Digital currency trades?
Question: Of the above quoted % increases did Cindicator consider how much better the cindicator trading model performed over usual market increases?

It is the questions for traders, not for data scientists so I am happy to answer.
The point was to show that our strategy performs well in different market conditions. Of course, buy & hold is always one of the options but there will be a lot of periods of bear and sideways markets (for example, look at S&P500 until elections in November).
Most data-driven and algo hedge funds look for strategies that perform well in bear and sideways market conditions.
