Con could have the same issue right? So better disable upnp

Looks like the upnp is used as a type of ddos attack, attackers wouldn't really bother with CON but would be good to disable it. I am curious how that affects dns seeders though.

CoinFest 2015 was a stunning success, taking Canada’s crypto holiday to countries around the world. CoinFest 2016 is building on that momentum, preparing a series of events for April with two dozen cities already planning to participate.

They will commence April 5–the rumored birthday of Satoshi Nakomoto–and conclude with the end of the weekend on Sunday April 10. Confirmed cities so far include:

    Vancouver, Canada
    Toronto, Canada
    Niagara, Canada
    Omaha, United States
    Kansas City, United States
    Tulsa, United States
    Anaheim, United States
    Tampa Bay, United States
    Fortaleza, Brazil
    Valdivia, Chile
    Manchester, United Kingdom
    Arnhem, Netherlands
    Amsterdam, Netherlands
    Copenhagen, Denmark
    Helsinki, Finland
    Tallinn, Estonia
    Saint Petersburg, Russia
    Moscow, Russia
    Seoul, South Korea
    Popayán, Colombia
    Caracas, Venezuela
    Valencia, Venezuela
    Maracaibo, Venezuela
    Jijel, Algeria
    Bou Sada, Algeria
    Freetown, Sierra Leone
    Kumasi, Ghana
    Gaborone, Botswana
    Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Origins and Purpose

CoinFest started in 2013 as a relatively small gathering of 100 or so Bitcoiners, celebrating the adoption of Bitcoin at a Waves Coffee House in Vancouver. It was conceived as a way to incentivize cryptocurrency acceptance while educating the public about its importance and use. Its popular success prompted the Bitcoiniacs (now CoinTrader) to place the world’s first Bitocin ATM there, which we again celebrated.

By 2014, CoinFest was growing in popularity, and that year it took a new direction: CoinFest spread across Canada and now internationally, exemplifying the border–defying and decentralized nature of crypto. Vancouver lead the way again by booking multiple venues simultaneously for a less centrally organized variety of exhibits, as Satoshi would have wanted. In 2015, CoinFest spread worldwide, and new ground was broken in Latin America and Europe.

Now it is celebrated worldwide, with no real center of authority.

we can take CON to Coinfest!

great new service that allow webwallets that are able to stake for POS able coins

for now its just a webwallet that can stake

but later on it will be linked with android apps and marketplaces too

i think now when this company is in the startup phase its maybe possible even a small coin can get added

later on it will be very difficult for small coins get a slot i guess

I'll ask them in a few days when I'm home, I get back on the 15th. Can send some requests in to get CON added, does it cost? I'll donate some to help where I can. Also for nodes since there has been some discussion, I maintain about 5 nodes for PayCon across different areas of the world, I'd have to check but I think it's new York, London, LA, San Francisco and Netherlands. I don'tthink I'd do the nodes from the node hosting site because it works out to $60 a year for 512 mb ram but from crowncloud.net you can get 2 gb ram for $30 a year.

I'm happy to move the SandG stakes over to C-CEX for a while, its not a massive volume, but some trades none the less...

Also if your are trying to get nodes up, let me know I will chuck 2 up for you Smiley

Con is marked for delistening on c-cex.Cryptsy,big issue now, many people cant witdraw his btc from cryptsy and some alts.lot of talk about Cryptsy on btctalk

It would be a good time to generate some
volume on CCEX and pull the buy -sells a little closer together.

Yo it's Crestington here, I'll be away for about a week but don't have access to my account atm. Coincidentally, I'm at jahvinci's house right now, first time meeting anyone from crypto.

Guys, trade your CON!

Honestly I'm still amazed as to how far this coin has progressed.  While I'm not an official node, I have a VM running the wallet 24/7.  As long as there is two more out there the chain will always be alive.
Second one here mate  Grin

That makes three then, my PI never rests Grin

Make it four, my INTEL D54250WYK NUC never rests Grin
