Well I am happy that the team is working on releasing things for this coin before hunting down an exchange Smiley That's a nice site to see where most coins are rush rush rush for an exchange and then it dies lol

i like the development is having this coin, really promising, is it actually in some exchange?,do the coin have some dice site?

thanks

It is already on plan to be add to Fogify (a coinmixer), Dice game and addition to exchanges is the easiest part when we are done with phase-1 of development, Right now the usability, development and community is what will give creditbit value, everything else comes later.

Code:
creditbit-master # make
cd /home/user/creditbit-master/src/leveldb && CC=gcc CXX=g++ make OPT="-fpermissive -fstack-protector-all --param ssp-buffer-size=1 -O2" libleveldb.a libmemenv.a
/bin/sh: 1: ./build_detect_platform: Permission denied

Makefile:18: build_config.mk: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `build_config.mk'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/user/creditbit-master/src/leveldb'
make: *** [/home/user/creditbit-master/src/leveldb/libleveldb.a] Error 2

Can't compile QT wallet in Linux Mint

You can download source of any other coin and copy files "libleveldb.a" and "libmemenv.a"
from src/leveldb folder to `/home/user/creditbit-master/src/leveldb' and recompile. It works for me

Seems to be a problem with the build_detect_platform executable. Replaced it with one from another coin and now it's compiling.

Don't download the source from other coins but build it your self from Creditbit's one, do the next:

Code:
git clone https://github.com/creditbit/creditbit && cd creditbit/src/leveldb
chmod +x build_detect_platform
make libleveldb.a libmemenv.a
cd ..
mkdir obj
mkdir obj/zerocoin
make -f makefile.unix (to compile the daemon)
strip creditbitd
cd..
qmake
make

Will add the missing folders in the next release (1.2.0.0 will be out next week)

Edit: just double checked, the file is OK, you just have to make it executable ( chmod +x build_detect_platform).

Creditpay is the Hierarchical Deterministic Multisig wallet for creditbit that we are working on, The development is in an advanced stage, soon we should have a working Alpha for devs to test, then later after that we will release a Beta for community. Creditpay will be cross platform, it means the same source code will be compiled for Android, iOS, Windows mobile, Web-wallet, chrome extension (not sure we will do the chrome extension though).

This is a peek view of the work that has been done (not finished yet, you can follow the project on github if you wish)

Well I'm quite content that this coin is taking it's time to make sure that the things that they release are working properly before they release them and I also commend you guys on not panicking about getting onto an exchange right away Smiley That's a good thing too in my opinion cause it at least shows that you somewhat care about the direction of your coin and you just aren't looking to get it launched right away onto an exchange so people can dump it quick and have it die! Keep up the good work I'm quite happy mining and staking away right now Cheesy Cheers

Hello, I am mmitech , I am part of the creditbit Team.

As promised, Electrum-Creditbit is done and the source code was released few days ago, Linux Users can already try it:

Code:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install python-pip -y
wget https://www.creditbit.org/binaries/Electrum-Creditbit-2.3.0.tar.gz
sudo pip install Electrum-Creditbit-2.3.0.tar.gz

Soon the official website will be updated with all binaries and a blog post will be published to explain the benefits of Electrum and explain how to run your own Electrum-Creditbit server.

You can watch the Github repos for a close look on what the Dev-team is working on, our next project (which is in an advanced stage) is to release a cross platform Hierarchical Deterministic Multisig wallet, I will update you when more information are available.

Edit: Please test and report any issues.

the guy(mmitech) who posted watching is part of the Dev-team, he probably posted so he can see this thread on his "list of the new replies to your posts".

Well, there are some cute buttons like 'watch' and 'notify' for that purpose in each thread, just saying.

As for exchanges and coin value, we are Devs and we will not speculate about the price and we appreciate it if you also respect this, however feel free to create a separate thread and have total freedom to discuss anything you please.

So, what's the ultimate purpose of the coin, dev? It's the "future of money", right? Please stay informative.

OK, I see where are you going with this.... keep trolling and you will simply get banned.

Will get what??? Banned? What a boring clown  Grin
I will not bother opening another thread to sell the coins.

Still selling coins: 25000 credits / ONLY 0.1 BTC now!
Whether or not he could actually ban you the Dev was kind enough to ask people not to post selling or buying of the coin in this thread and that if people wanted to sell or buy these coins to create another thread in the marketplace section for altcoins.  Now I've had two of my posts deleted and after reading what the Dev said I was okay and cool with it.  To be honest you are just being a dink now buddy after he was kind about asking people not to post those kinds of posts in their thread Smiley Cheers

Selling and buying Creditbit or price speculation doesn't belong in this thread, you can do that in the market sub-forum or anywhere else... just not here. This thread must stay clean and informative.

I will delete every post that doesn't serve the informing purpose.

Yes, sure it will be clean with only the link to the website, not much informative, but who cares, right?  Grin
So, a post with the only word like "watching" is fine? The purpose of your coin is not in trading (exchanging) it?

The OP is more than informative if you bother clicking on the link, but who am I to judge if you are just that lazy or a pure troll, and the guy(mmitech) who posted watching is part of the Dev-team, he probably posted so he can see this thread on his "list of the new replies to your posts". As for exchanges and coin value, we are Devs and we will not speculate about the price and we appreciate it if you also respect this, however feel free to create a separate thread and have total freedom to discuss anything you please.

Ive noticed this, nice to have a long standing member on BCT as a dev on the team!
