What's the total coins including the dev's 300trillion premine? I can't seem to find it in the block explorer.
Most likely anyone mining this is wasting their time, this will either never make it to an exch or if it does it will sell for 1 doge.

My thoughts are that the coin will not be valued at 1 satoshi immediately on an exchange and instead be paired with an alt-coin such as Dogecoin or even Litecoin.
Exchange will come soon, but adoption is going to take a bit longer, much more mining to come. Even with a doge market to start, i could see this coin becoming a favorite. LTC markets and XMR markets before a BTC market.

I like where this coin is going, exactly how it should be. Nice friendly community, and fun. Anyone can mine a ton of coins. Ok, they may not be worth a lot each. But it feels like my asic's are actually doing something for a change! Lol

I'm looking into starting a marketplace where you can buy real things with CRT. First I need to make sure there are no issues with exchanges, pools and other sites before moving ahead with e-commerce.
I also want to move the coin in a direction where people buy CRT directly with other currency and not just cryptos. This will help stimulate the CRT economy.

eheheh, no problem if all work good.. :-P I'm very curious then about the exchange... any block reward is 40 BTC ... isn't too much ? with this coins you solve many fails of others coins.. about low value. And if exchange don't accept your coin ? or better, if they accept on low market as CRT/LTC ? or if nobody make an orders ? Some doubts, but however I hope for good success of this..

Solo mining does work but the pool has a high hashrate so you may not be getting many blocks
Coins mature after 2000 blocks. Try the listtransactions rpc command to see your immature coins.
I solo mined as testing before CRT went public, tried both testnet and mainnet and they worked just fined. I restarted the blockchain after testing was completed.
I tried listtransaction command on rpc console and I get "[]" as nothing

But the wallet don't write these immature coins on main page or transactions list... any options must to be activated for this?
I used Cgminer 3.8.5 with Gridseed 6Gh/s and found 2 blocks on solo mode.
