Why would someone use this Remix coin and not original Monero coin?

Can you provide a few more details. What version are you using and or web wallet?? Are you using binaries or building from source, etc.

Just want to clarify on this. We had announced the main net going live on our discord. We made a point for no one on the dev team to mine at all in the beginning stages of launching this project.

So it appears that the premine of 6% is not the only pre-ANN-mining....
Block 2, the first _mined_ block, was mined on August 27th, but the ANN was not posted until August 30th. Looks like the dev got just over 3 days of mining in before letting others jump on the network.

Remix runs cryptonote, so no masternodes.
I known that there are several projects, which use cryptonight algorithm (forks from Cryptonight in order to be ASIC-resistant) implement Service Nodes on their networks.LOKI, and Saronite are one of case studies.
There are probably more projects which I have not known.
One of our biggest goals with Remix is to maintain community voice and complete decentralization. Masternodes can present a threat to decentralization, so they are not on the roadmap at this time.

I support the development team in every possible way. The strongest side of the monero is anonymity. But, it is quite obvious that it is necessary to develop the engine. Good luck. I hope that your new coin will be more perfect.

Which mining pool was this on? Often times the blocks need to mature for a fixed number of blocks before the mining pool payouts process.
