I have a masternode running for almost 17 days now and no payment:

Can someone explain why it seems it has skipped 2 payments? Should I restart it again or just let it run and hope for another payment?

So, what's happening? This time it's not a correction, right?
Hope that non MN holders dump their coin and buy into trollero! 
I could use a few more masternodes! Lets start a rumour and freak the shakey hands out......cause I'm holding off buying more MN's to see if I can them cheaper.

If it's really the (in)famous Dash 45-degree-straight-line-months-long slow dump starting then no rumours will be needed. Cheap masternode season is about to open.
In 3D or 1W timeframes this looks like a normal correction to test support (previous resistance) in the 0.017 to 0.019 area

yep, mostly due to their community and their lack of progress with developing their coin. Besides, most Dash holders are far more longterm orientated.
Making some money with other cryptocurrencies and putting that back in Dash is shortterm thinking and a lot of things can go wrong with that strategy.
I rather take the long and more safe road.

I made some from both, dash and monero, and i still have some of both.
keep all your money in dash can go wrong too... diversify your investments is always a good thing.
i just dont understand why people around here are so obsessive about one coin(this sh*t happens in every coin)...
I have been investing in Dash for two years now, slowly increasing my number of masternodes. Those masternodes provide MN payments every 6 to 8 days
and give me voting power over budget proposals which i use daily. There is no way on earth i would give that up to short term profit from a hyped-up
pump and dump scheme that has almost no natural growth from itself.
I guess that makes me more of a longterm investor then a daytrader and i may miss some of the advantages that daytraders have but i strongly believe that
holding Dash longterm without getting distracted by daytrading is a better solution for myself.

I am not touching XMR due to trolls, wile developers and lack of gui wallet. Also, its backed up by known scammers, not touching anything scammers are involved in.
Dont care for darkmarkets, dont care for current market cap, really dont.
Its easier to integrate DASH to other platforms, its fast, private, great developers, and great improvements. DASH value was suppresed due to Craptsy, but now reaching true evaluation. I love that DASH is accepted in wide range of exchanges, and hope it can move away from poloniex and be more widely distributed.
If anything happened to poloniex, sure DASH would take a hit, but would survive and the markets would be quickly redistributed as poloniex holds only 50-60% of trades, but what would happen to XMR if poloniex took a hit with 97% trade there?

You can short it from 147 with tight stop but becarefull, it's still in a hype mode. 150 should be a buy
