Why would you say that? Dash is being used widely so why do you think it is not needed by anyone?

Dash is not needed by anyone and you will soon be giving it away for free Grin

He probably doesn't know that himself. If you look at https://messari.io/ you can see that Dash is regularly among the top 6 active addresses.

The comparison to similar projects should ultimately refute this meaningless statement

Dash/BTC skyrocketer.

38 odd Masternodes purchased on 1 exchange in 10 minutes as the Bank of International Setlements moves in.

Further evidence of a possible 'stremely long-term bottom being signalled.

Dash is pumping man.  Close to its all time high!!  Grin

Yeah man, all Altcoins + Bitcoin + Euro + USD are pumping like crazy and totally close to ATH.
Even your podpodiamatrollcoin is pumping like crazy. Grin

I wish trolls would put a little more effort in their trolling.
What i see so far, is just lazy trolling.

It is almost like their heart is not in it anymore  Undecided

Unfortunately, on this shoddy level, "trolls" don't think any further than to insult other projects. If you were convinced of your own project, you would invest your time and energy in these projects to support them. They are nothing more than bad losers. A little tip: self-reflection helps. Look for the meaning in your life
There is enough misery and suffering in this world (violance, hunger/famine, poverty, lack of love). It is unfortunate that Trolling has such a high value for some people.

Sorry @Dahaa. that is a stupid statement with no content

No, There is No Dash CEO.

In 2015, Dash created cryptocurrency's first decentralized autonomous organization, or DAO for short. Yes, it appeared even before the infamous project of the same name (The DAO) that self-destructed and ended up taking half of the Ethereum network with it. DAOs can be complicated creatures, with lots of features and nuances that are not readily visible to the casual observer. Dash's DAO has an interesting structure, but it's one that can lead to some misconceptions.

One of the biggest misconceptions that I've seen over and over and over again is the title of Ryan Taylor. Mr. Taylor is not Dash CEO, he is the CEO of the Dash Core Group. This erroneous statement has been repeated in headlines, and in more articles and videos than I can count. I understand the confusion, as it's not something that's explained regularly, but this mistake does tend to hurt Dash in an industry that values decentralization...

US Authorities Can Now Track the Privacy-Focused Monero Cryptocurrency

Note : the Cointelegraph article ends with a quote from someone we all know here, a someone apparently still being mislabeled as
CEO of Dash. Will they never learn that Dash does not have a CEO ?  Roll Eyes

Dash Core Group : yes
Dash : no

Also i am not sure Dash should be labeled as 'another privacy-oriented cryptocurrency' by Cointelegraph. I thought we were trying to avoid
getting classed as a privacy-centric cryptocurrency, as privacy is optional with Dash and not widely used. Getting classed as a privacy-oriented
cryptocurrency comes pretty darn close to that, i think.

From a marketing perspective we should pay attention to these little details, as they can make or break Dash marketing identity.

Increased risk for BTC to test $9100 if it can't re-establish $10250 level...

DASH held up somewhat well in this last pullback simply because it's sitting on very strong support (0.0066 BTC). Hopefully that can continue to hold... 0.006 BTC would be next.

LINK was in a strong bull market and only now is testing (and failing) supports... first breaching $12.25, now testing $8.60 (and holding well for now). If $8.60 fails... $6 would be next...

DOT is too new but could easily test $3 or lower before taking off...

Overall BTC is still in good shape (believe it or not) and all the alts depend on it. Maybe one day that will change but for now even ETH is largely dependent on BTC holding value...

LINK tankeroo.

Not enough exit doors.

Polkadot (-28%) is getting decimated, so much for their redenomination efforts.
Both coins and tokens are getting hit hard. But in general tokens seem to be getting hit harder these last few days.

https://coinmarketcap.com/coins/
https://coinmarketcap.com/tokens/ (specifically the DeFi tokens : https://coinmarketcap.com/defi/)

Bitcoin is dropping below $10,000, so this will only intensify.

Dash Core Group CEO Ryan Taylor Provides Some Updates

Dash Core Group CEO Ryan Taylor, the leader of the Dash decentralized autonomous organization's largest development contractor, took to Twitter on Friday afternoon to provide some much anticipated updates. In a series of tweets, he informed the community that the next iteration of Dash's software will be hitting testnet imminently.

Version 0.16 of Dash's core software will include many enhancements, and will feature the new block reward allocation that has been discussed at length in the Dash community and approved in a recent governance vote. Mr. Taylor indicated that the product brief will be updated early next week, and there was only a few odds and ends to clear up before we will see a testnet release...

Ethereum Classic Hit by Yet Another 51% Attack, But Has Defensive Plans

Some think the issues that ETC is having is from the new ETH miner that is under development.

Ethereum Classic Hit by Yet Another 51% Attack, But Has Defensive Plans
https://cryptobriefing.com/ethereum-classic-hit-yet-another-51-attack-has-defensive-plans/

Quote
Key Takeaways

* The Ethereum Classic blockchain has been attacked, allowing hackers to steal an unknown amount of ETC tokens.
* Exchanges and miners are clamping down with extra security measures and longer confirmation times.
* Some exchanges are considering delisting the ETC token.

Quote
Ethereum Classic was hit by another 51% attack on Aug. 29, making it the third attack on the blockchain this month.

When i read that Ethereum Classic was 51% attacked for a third time in just one month (August), i am just glad Dash prioritized
and implemented ChainLocks last year.

Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LyTkHpQ836Q (i miss these Dash marketing videos)

What is happening to Ethereum Classic lately with all these 51% attacks, could have happened to Dash without ChainLocks in place.
A scary thought.
