They did send 100 DASH & 3.4 BTC to me just now, only 900 DASH & 70 odd BTC to go, so it doesn't seem like they plan to steal them, just hopeless communications and support, plus dysfunctional withdrawals process.

All our pool funds have been frozen at Cryptsy too, all emails /  requests / tickets did not turn out to be of any help, it seems like they're just trying to gain time. We had to stop operations completely because of this unfortunately.

b.t.w. What's the relevance of this to Dash ? Many things:

[1] - Throughout all this storm, Dash has retained its relative marketcap position. If bitcoin can crack through its last all-time high it will blow many of its obstacles (in terms of critics, credibility and general questions over integrity as a monetary medium) out of the water. A new wave of fiat capital will be attracted into the space

[2] - The alts are at an all time low. What that means is that simply by virtue of having survived (they didn't go to zero) they will get a major boost IMO, simply from diversification. For the alts not to get any benefit from new bitcoin investment there would have to be zero diversification and that's simply not going to happen

[3] - Dash has been battered by troll skepticism for a whole year and survived with its marketcap position. The reason for that is deserved and is twofold:

a) - Evan took a gamble on supporting bitcoin compatability. This gamble was based on the bitcoin protocol emerging as the basis for evolving technologies like hardware wallets, online security technologies, consumer conventions (like being able to check the progress of your transaction online) and the blockchain core codebase

b) - This gamble has paid off. Those technologies are now ubiquitous and Dash is reaping major benefits. It is also becoming uniquely placed as the only altcoin that can actually enhance bitcoin's monetary properties without a wholesale departure from its conventions

Do not despair at the strain on Dash's valuation from bitcoin rallys. Daytrade if you like - I'd do it if I thought I could get away with it but make no mistake, bitcoin's success wil be Dash's success as well

As I mentioned before I also had trouble getting BTC out (a much smaller amount). I finally ended up buying dash and moved it out in a series of small withdrawls.

I see it as a sign that Dashtalk.org is gaining popularity

Looks like bitcoin may be starting to spool up engines for resumption of the rally over the next couple of days.

4-hour chart is coming around without signs of the mass sell-off and long term drift down that has characterised previous rallies.

Meanwhile, Gold about to drop into 3-figures. Is gold a garbage investment now given that it is no longer mobile relative to modern base monetary media ? Are gold investors going to be left with their pants around their ankles when the debt bubble pops ?

Probably not since they are finding ways to trade physical gold the don't involve highly levered ETF's but it's still going to be interesting.

UPDATE: I think I might shorten my launch window to 4-8 hours. The Huobi bulls seem to be getting impatient. There is quite a bit of snorting and stamping of hoofs as they wait impatiently for that 4-hour correction to close.

The big question is the resistence - what bears lie in wait just a few levels above who were left hanging from the rafters when the steps were pulled away a couple of days ago. Will they snuff out the next run before it even gets up a head of steam ? Only Jamie Dimon and Christene Lagarde have the answer

High correlation(0.98) between blocksize and tps/transaction count as expected.
Currently at 0.65 MB per block so double the transactions from 2 tps to 4 tps makes over 1 MB and would involve delays,
