for those looking to personalise their wallet : go to your dash.conf and add in there
windowtitle=whatever_you_feel_like_yr_wallet_should_be_titled
Specially when one has multiple wallets its a good way to differentiate between them.

Updated here. Update was a pain simply because the folder structure changed with the breaking out the new versions (32 and 64) into their own tars.
And that's why MN Op's earn revenue. For the service of maintaining the Masternode network. Learning linux scripting sure comes handy.
The script is fine but I wasn't aware this release changed the folder structure (along with only foldering out the release at 12.0, not 12.0.44), let alone called for moving the rpc codes to cli. It was a simple addition, just wasn't aware of it, that's all. I have scripts for autostarting and checking statuses as well that needed changes. It's fine now but definitely a heads up for others.
Hey, sorry if I came across a bit "dry" ... not my intention at all. What I meant was... it's a bumpy ride for MN owners!

Update with protocol change & command-option reindex for windows users with help of WINSCP
Hot wallet :
./dashd stop
replace old dashd with new winrar extracted dashd with help of WINSCP
add new winrar extracted dash-cli to same location as dashd with help of WINSCP
chmod +x ./dashd
chmod +x ./dash-cli
rm ~/.dash/peers.dat
rm ~/.dash/mncache.dat
./dashd --reindex
./dash-cli getinfo
wait for full sync
Cold wallet :
replace old dash-qt.exe with new dash-qt.exe
delete peers.dat & mncache.dat
start wallet with commandline option -reindex
wait for full sync
issue "masternode start passphrase"
Hot wallet :
./dash-cli masternodelist full | grep -e SERVER_IP -e SERVER_IP -e etc.
It could take a few hours on dashninja.pl to catch up but if masternode list addr | grep -e SERVER_IP shows "ENABLED" your good to go.

Some new info thats handy to know : in Tools - Info you will see the following :
The "Number of Masternodes" is split in three categories, the "DS compatible" category is particular interesting as that
directly impacts the Darksend mixing (and also InstantX i think).
If that category is still catching up with the other two categories then that means the network is still in the middle of updating
and its not recommended to start Darksend mixing.

i dont think so, so far i can tell its just colourless text for now. Maybe crowning can tell us if we could possibly in the future use some colorcodes

Great on the V12 release to everyone involved, 44 test versions and over 10,000 code revisions, to my mind the hardest part so far is testing and implementing the voting system, am expecting a few little bugs but hey thats what designing cutting edge never before tried ideas and software is all about 
But watch out, another off chain network(the lightning network) is just beginning to tackle bitcoin's scalability problem, and as we know, things can move awfully quick in the cyptosphere,
