Quantum entangled and jump drive assisted messages
Ok, I'll leave you with Adam Back talking about block size and scalability,

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/37vg8y/is_the_blockstream_company_the_reason_why_4_core/crqdnoo
and here
https://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg07937.html

''Now there are three choices of validation level, rather than the
normal 2-levels of SPV or full-node, with extension blocks we get a
choice: A) a user could run a full node for both 1MB and 10MB blocks,
and get full security for both 1MB and 10MB block transactions (but at
higher bandwidth cost), or B) a user could run a full node on the 1MB
block, but operate as an SPV node for the 10MB block, or C) run in SPV
mode for both 1MB and 10MB blocks.

Similarly for mining - miners could validate 1MB and 10MB transactions
(solo mine or GBT-style), or they could self-validate 1MB transactions
and pool mine 10MB transactions (have a pool validate those).

1MB full node users who do not upgrade to software that understands
extension blocks, could run in SPV mode with respect to 10MB blocks.
Here lies the risk - this imposes a security downgrade on the 1MB
non-upgraded users, and also on users who upgrade but dont have the
bandwidth to validate 10MB blocks.''

Major bitcoin spats and factioning occurring over this scaleability stuff.

GMaxwell not happy with the prospect of Bitcoin XT.

Help! I can't post chart of the day, have lost the stress test results ??

Not the chart I was looking for but ..

Tempers getting frayed and toys getting thrown out of prams.

Personally I don't think sidechains is a great idea either. You'll just end up with even less fungible bitcoin, sidechained alts that are pegged competing with non-sidechained alts that are better technologically in their sector and it'll be one great mess.

Let markets do the work of finding out what works where, not cryptographers.

Can I get someones opinion on a decent pool to farm some DASH.

I tried at miningpoolhub and was not getting favorable results..

I am in the US on the West Coast

try p2pool
choose any http://dash.org.ru/pages/stats.php#p2pool
or setup your own p2pool node and mine without fee and with low latency

That's certainly out there. I wonder if there'll be someone from another research unit that will put up a counteracting argument "the problem with ring lasers is......" (just like "the problem with ring signatures is....")

Lol, yer I get the analogy.
Its something like a few milliseconds back in time along the laser beam. His solutions to Einsteins relativity equations are contested by some theoretical physicists, but they are solutions none the less and predict 'closed timelike curves' using the frame dragging(twisting space into vortice's) technique of high power lasers.
There is a great book by the man himself and its surprisingly easy to read, he went on his single minded quest after his own father died at the age of 33 and he missed him so much he wanted to travel back in time to see him again, there is a practical working model but whether it travels back in time is the question.

Incredibly interesting story! Talk about one man's determination and never-give-up mantra!

Thanks for posting.

I have a good one for you, this guy (Dr Ronald Mallet) worked in secrecy for decades (is a Doctor of Theoretical physics) and has spent his life building a time machine using a high power ring laser that frame shifts space and then trys to send data backwards through time using the spin
direction of neutrons to repesent zero and ones.
(He has found particular mathematical solutions to Einstein's Relativity equations to prove the frame shifting can work)

https://youtu.be/tgUbWkiWNCo

''To use binary code through time using circular patterns of light to twist space and time (Space-time). Using light to manipulate time. The energy of the light beams will produce a gravitational field strong enough to drag a spinning neutron through time. ''

Encryption 'key to free speech'

Encryption software that makes it hard to spy on what people do and say online is "essential" for free speech, says a UN report.
