Finally!

Been pressing F5 on this sucker for days wondering if it would ever return!

Felt like the entire all-coin 'industry' (using that term ever so loosely; 'casino' would be more appropriate) had had it's playground confiscated.

It's fitting and within the overall theme of what we've come to expect that the first posting in this thread after days of downtime was a troll chucking rotten tomatoes. Good to be back into the swing of normality isn't it!

I'm presenting Dash at the Barcelona Bitcoin Meetup in Barcelona next Tuesday. To any dasher around the area... please come and help spread the word!

http://www.meetup.com/bitcoin-barcelona/events/222636340/

The Barcelona BTC meetup is the biggest in Spain and one of the most attended ones in Europe. Besides the usual attendance (30-40 people), all people at the Bitcoin panel in the Symposium on Electronic Crime Research (eCrime 2015), that takes place in Barcelona that same day, are invited:

https://apwg.org/apwg-events/ecrime2015/

The organization expects many of them to go to the meetup and this could be a good opportunity to present Dash in a more friendly way to this audience.

I will do a 20-30 min overview of Dash, covering masternodes, darksend, instantX and blockchain governance. We will try to connect with Evan via Skype for the Q&A, but we don't know for sure yet because we need to test the audio at the venue first.

aleix made this possible and he will record the presentation. We'll make the video and the deck available so anyone can use.

I will be travelling to Barcelona specifically for this. Depending onf the final arrangements, I expect the cost of the train and the hotel to be around 200-250 EUR (80-100 DASH). I'll be doing this anyway, but donations to help cover the costs are more than welcomed Smiley My address is XcuTUeqH3zQmrfWQB3APRWLWkvM2fshpQc

If there is any excess over the cost, I'll tip attendees who download the wallet after the event so they can try Dash.

24 hours to go! Please spread the word!

I'd hate to have been in the shoes of sh!tcoin investors all this time... Must have been dreadful. Thank goodness we have our own forum.

By the way, I found the most wonderful thread over at dashtalk.org. The Rolling thread... sort of like this one, just pest free.

When is the academic research going to be released supporting DASH anonymity?

That's funny ! I'm waiting for the one about ShadowCash and Monero...

This was asked in another thread before, so I will just crosspost.

How much research as been put into those "100% anonymous" coins?

Has the technology been proper tested and reviewed by domain experts? If so how many? Where can I see the conclusions?

Here it is for monero.

Lots of other data on getmonero.org, especially the monero research lab.

Selling a kidney for Dash. Both in exquisite condition. Choice of left or right.

 PM me an offer  Grin

50,000 DASH for both (should have enough to get some not so excellent condition ones or a mechanical version)?

 SOLD !!...

hold on... they are vital organs right? hmmm ... oops, sorry coins, can only do 1. Would you take a spleen and 1/3 of my liver instead? For 75,000 Dash I'll throw in the old yet trustworthy gallbladder. All in tip-top shape.

What am I supposed to do with 1/3 of a liver? Eat it with some fava beans?

I'm holding out for a tip-top working pair of kidneys.

You'd also need a fine Chianti for that recipe..

Dash Nation Founder | CATV Host

Pretty stark stuff from Martin Armstrong:

That has got to be the strongest business case for cryptocurrency that I have ever read. Thank you Satoshi and Evan for giving us a way out of this coming madness. I have never been more convinced that what we are doing here is going to make a serious impact in the future. What an article!

Gresham's Lawyer
There's no question that the lunatics are running the asylum, but I can't decide whether they're driven predominantly by malice, or stupidity. Even idiots occasionally get something right.  Undecided

Greed and narcissism are sufficient.  Malice is unnecessary, just takes even a casual disregard of everyone else.
