Easiest way with windows wallet is to go to your shortcut for Darkcoin, rightclick on it, choose properties
and go to the target part of your shortcut. here you will add -zapwallettxes right after the darkcoin-qt.exe
so it will look something like this : yrdirectorypath/darkcoin/darkcoin-qt.exe -zapwallettxes

Then remove it later on, after the scan

How do you run a wallet with -zapwallettx in windows machine? Thanks

You can run darkcoin-qt -zapwalletx from cmd (command prompt) or right click on the proprieties of the link of darkcoin-qt and add -zapwalletx in the argument.

the command is -zapwallettxes

If i do from cmd, is it still zapwallettxes or -zapwallettx?

-You go to cmd
-You go to the folder where you have the client
- then type: darkcoin-qt -zapwallettxes
- It will run and rescan the blockchain
- You are done

Hm, i had the same problem with stuck transaction. Did exactly what Minotaour said but i got error message "darkcoin-qt is neither internal or external command..."

Any idea what i might be doing wrong?

I also got the same error.
As Minotaur26 said, i opened cmd, went to the folder %APPDATA%\Darkcoin and then typed exactly darkcoin-qt -zapwallettxes and nothing happened. Must have missed something.

When you say went to the folder... you mean from the command line right?

Yes, by typing cd %APPDATA%\Darkcoin in cmd  [which then takes to the full path with Roaming... etc

And your darkcoin-qt (exe file) is in that folder? Is the file you doube click to run the wallet there? Because it can be wherever you put it.... that is just the data folder

I think you are in the wrong folder, you need to run darkcoin-qt.exe which is not in the roaming data folder, use dir to check contents. I always create a folder called darkcoin dash at the top level of 'c' drive, paste the darkcoin-qt.exe into the folder and then navigate to the folder in dos via cmd using cd..

You have to cd through where you installed darkcoin-qt , usually c:\program files\darkcoin. (not sure about this I do not use windows)

Are you on Windows?
You need to be on the folder where you have the client executable.
Is your client executable named darkcoin-qt?
All you are doing there is running the client from the cmd with the -zapwallettxes argument

Edit: When I say go to the folder where you have the client... It means in the command line... you know cd [DIR] that sort of thing.

Congratulations everybody on the great price rise last night.

When the gods (universe, your higher self) and you decide that you need to finally learn a lesson (maths 101) the hard way, they will bring the house down on you and then really try to bring it home by doubling the value of what you have just lost, it may seem harsh but it's just tough love, they did try many, many times to get your attention in less extreme ways but you choose to disregard the hints, some none too subtle, like 'Attention, inevitable disaster ahead, take care!' type warnings.

Thanks for the well wishes on the price goodness atm Smiley

You'll bounce back, np, don't worry Wink

stronger & wiser Cool

not hard Tongue

Thanks Otoh. I know what you are saying.

I've bought as many DRK as I can afford and have received some really humbling donations from the community so I do have a stake in the race.

Sadly my next payday isnt likely to be until the end of May so I've missed the opportunity to get a bigger stake while cheapish. Time will tell.

As for me and Mrs Hedge, we're good. Occasionally very bitter about how much we needed what I threw away but we're at peace with each other and can only look ahead.

We're going to crawl back, one DRK at a time.

1 less Dash to go!, just sent you 1.0 Dash, welcome back!  Smiley

I don't know what iCEBREAKER is saying, but please urge him to continue, his sideshow is entertaining people right into the DASH buy queue!

How nice to have this kind of dedication to a hopeless cause...

regurgitated arguments FTW!

yes Tao it shows how desperate they are.  Plus their own thread is empty and people are asking where everyone went lol

Wow - so much Monero trolling.  Out of all the fake anon-coins rushed out last April after the Drk launch showed how valuable anonymity was to the market, that is the scammiest still around, now the only way it can survive is to come here looking for scraps of food and a truck load of toys-out-the-pram FUD.  And it's 'anonymity' is on-block chain so good luck with that.  I hope new investors don't get fooled.  Wink

Crypto is the separation of Power and State.
Goddamn, one of my Masternodes had 1022DRK where I sent 22DRK for trading. The MN has exactly 1000DRK left, but it's all of a sudden not showing up on drk.mn and when I try to start it, it gives me an error: not capable masternode: Unknown. Check debug.log for more information.

What the fook?

EDIT:
I didn't use coin control so I probably used a chunk of the 1000DRK the MN needs to operate.. Fuck! Undecided

I think you should have locked the funds (the 1000) before sending.
Yup.. I should have.. I sent funds from 8 of my MN, it seems I have to re-setup all of them. Goddamn......

Sending the 'wrong' coins broke your MadoffNodes?  Oops!  At least you didn't lose them all, like what happened to that DyslexicZombie guy.

It sounds like some DARSH are more fungible than others.   Cheesy

Apparently Proof-of-Stake is incompatible with fungibility, because it requires some coins to be locked and treated differently.    Tongue
