Since tracing of transactions became the topic of the day, here is a quiz question for you  Grin

Let's say we can see the following transaction on the blockchain:
Input A 1 BTC, Output Address B 0.6 BTC and C 0.4 BTC.

What can be inferred here is that A either sent 0.6 BTC to B (and got the change to C address) OR 0.4 BTC to C (and got the change to B address).

Question: Is there a way to find out whether A sent money to B OR C?

By looking at just that one transaction, and with no other information (eg. access to historical wallet data - a lot of which can be deduced from just looking at the blockchain - or IP logging etc.) I don't think so. So best send a SWAT team to both locations to be sure.

Or is this a wife/mistress mixup?

Not enough manpower. Did you know 90% of USD bills have cocaine residue on them? Do you think the US has the manpower to send SWAT Teams to every and all people who own USD bills with cocaine residue? And, even if they did have the manpower, they would find that 99% of the people who owned or used those USD bills have never even touched cocaine before, or even knew that their bills were tainted.

Same goes for cryptocurrencies.

I'm wondering what it means that coinbase wants to be the first regulated exchange.  Is it submitting itself to more scrutiny than other exchanges?  Is this about becoming Federally insured or something?  Or Federally approved, so that all states have to accept them?  I don't understand (obviously, LOL)  Can anyone help me???

Theyre regulated in NY, thats the catch

Only avaliable for a few states BTW

Oh....yes....

I thought your "Bye bye Demis Roussos" was a metaphorical statement about the Greek election.

He's actually passed. RIP Demis (I was never a big fan but he had quite a following down here in Australia)

The latest shift for the Darkcoin multipool paid out over 60 DRK.

Still need more hash for Scrypt &  more importantly X11 algo. If you're looking for a new home for your X11 hash, bring it over! On average, you'll make the same if not more DRK and you'll help push the price of DRK up.

We have a new multipool in development. This will in effect combine our existing two pools into one which will allow for combined mining efforts increasing the profitability as well as improved statistics and mining features. Stay tuned for this, we're almost into full on testing.

Cheers!
