Hey everyone, is it possible to run a masternode from my (dynamic ip) house with no-ip.org? (the same as dyndns.com)

Basically, I want to know if I can say "use e1ghtSpace.no-ip.org as my masternode's ip".

Thanks.

Almost 2000 masternodes and yet the same price? This is unbelievable... When will this markter manipulation crap stop?

That's true that watching bitcoinwisdom we can feal/touch the invisible force that maintain the prize in the 60sh...

Would it be hard to implement a feature which would drop only the latest block so the wallet wouldn't have to reindex or download the whole chain when it gets stuck at a block?

I thought I saw a coin or two with a -rewindchain BLOCK# flag. Would certainly be useful.

chmod +x first and the dashes don't matter (whether you use one or two).

Updated and running! Thanks oblox  Grin

Anyone know a link to a recent start-many explanation? thanks

Remove the masternode information from the local darkcoin.conf

Create a masternode.conf with the layout
ALIAS IPADDRESS:PORT MASTERNODE_GEN_KEY TXID OUTPUT_VALUE

NOTHING CHANGES FOR THE REMOTE SIDE OF THINGS USING START-MANY, STRICTLY LOCAL.

More information and example: https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/pull/62
also this https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/blob/master/doc/masternode_conf.md

Mandatory : All users must update to v11

If you have an error "Warning: The network does not appear to fully agree! Some miners appear to be experiencing issues." just restart the client with --reindex

I was about to update my masternode when I decided to check what block it was on and sure enough it's stuck on 204572. How exactly do I do the --reindex command? Do I do it before or after I put the new darkcoind in my vps? Thanks!

Do it after you update. Before you start your daemon back up, just do:

./darkcoind -reindex

It will start reindexing and downloading the blockchain right away.

Thanks, going to try it now.

Edit: Do I do this command "chmod +x ./darkcoind" before or after I do "./darkcoind -reindex?" I would think before, right? Also, is it -reindex or --reindex? I noticed Evan used two dashes. I don't want to screw anything up  Cheesy

PLEASE HELP SUPPORT BITCOIN RUSH

This is going to be an incredible advertisement for Darkcoin, it took well
over 2 months of work and it's turning out amazing. Please help support Bitcoin Rush
by donating!

TOTAL NEEDED FOR BITCOIN RUSH: 180 DRK
TOTAL RAISED SO FAR: (192 DRK)
NEEDED: (Some extra for animator georgem!)
PLEASE HELP OUT!

DONATION ADDRESS
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/drk/address.dws?XqSoLNUbCEuadxfU2V7nS3HEy2hXGX5MeE.htm

Can we please come up with a bit more for a very deserving animator?

Quote from georgem on DCT:

"So that's it.

Overall every animation took me about half a day to create, making it a whole week work.
So I will appreciate any donation.
But: the skills I learned during the creation of those animations are reward enough to me.
I am a total amateur regarding cartoons, but I want to continue doing this, and I will get better in the process eventually.

Enjoy. Looking forward to bitcoin rushs final product."

Thank you in advance,

Tao
