I think we should look at it in percentages of current coin supply.

ATM the current % of coin supply to MN is around 23%? That's f'ing impressive!

Also the amount of MN will be relative to the earnings that can be made by runnin one.

If market cap goes to $70mill again, and masternodes stay at around 1160, the earnings that can be made with a masternode will be unreal.

The amount of masternodes will rise naturally with marketcap.

A higher price can attract investors, because in that case MN earnings worth more. And users can still pool their darkcoins to share and run a masternode. Therefore, those goals can be reached with an increasing price.

An internet- (more precise: socket-) connection is (more or less) defined by the IP and the port-number to connect to.
The Masternodes right now use a fixed port for communication (9999 for mainnet, 19999 for testnet), so the only remaining variable to connect different Masternodes is the IP.

why can't we have multiple Master Nodes, say 3-5, running off 1 IP Address?

If we get IPs hidden, add random selection of MNs, taking into account those on one IP address, that would help to increase MNs to 4,000 - 6,000.

Moreover, if the bandwidth issue has been resolved, then I can have 5 computers at home running 5 master nodes off one IP address. that helps to sort out the need to send everything to a limited number of hosts.

If I buy another IP address, I can run 10 MNs.

Package up MNs into one launcher and you get the MNs being set-up in the same way as CGM miners.
