Hi,

I get this error when I'm trying to send payments:

Unable to locate enough Darksend denominated funds for this transaction"

I'm only using the linux daemon and not trying to use Darksend....

What's up? This only started with the last update.

Sounds like you are trying to send anon'd funds that aren't there from going through the DS+ process. Darksend disabled? Funds sent non-anon'd/no preference?

I've not specified anything to use DarkSend and I don't think it's enabled... unless it is by default?? I'm only using the RPC/CLI and the sendmany command.

Sendmany is fixed in the next release

Is there an ETA for this? Darkcoin Multipool payouts are on hold until this is fixed....

bump, to keep this from getting buried!

Multipool payments still on hold.

I just pushed the fix up to master, just recompile and try again:

https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/commit/6c2c1e417666be8a1148560e8090e72af8c145d1

Nurse! Nurse!

I'll bet you 1000 Darkcoin that you can't find an exploit that pays you like the one yesterday.

On the following conditions:

1.) You must make money from exploiting the system to an address that you control.
2.) You must make more than 1000 Darkcoin from said exploit.
3.) We both put up 1000 DRK into escrow.
4.) You have two week to prove you made 1000 DRK from exploiting the system. Otherwise I win.

Well, there's the first bounty...  Grin

I don't think ebolajax and his 'associate' in the loopy ward will be claiming it though.

It wouldn't do any good not to post.  I have been watching this thread and there were several posts made by other users that were attributed to me.  So I decided that since people were crediting me for posts I didn't even make then I might as well just post myself.

But enough about boring old me.  This is the darkcoin thread.

Any more news regarding that EXPLOIT?

Any new EXPLOITS been discovered yet?

Do you think that my associates and myself are the only ones actively looking for additional exploits?

Do you think the next exploit will have as minimal effect to darkcoin as the recent exploit has?

Peace :-)

Is there a tagged 0.9 release with the fix merged?

i dont think the releases without Darksend (v0.9.X) are issued and updated any more. Only releases which include Darksend (v0.10.X) are issued and updated.

remember also that v0.10.X has Darksend disabled at default .. no need to worry about using Darksend untill you press a certain large button.

Yep, that's what I'm seeing as well. DS and stable are one.

Such a sad, pathetic person we have attracted.

You didn't attract me.  I have been here from the beginning.  What hole did you just crawl out from?

No, you weren't here. You were and are in the sick reality of your own.
I don't care about your opinion on Darkcoin, it doesn't matter to most of us.
The real issue is your psychological case, most probably schizophrenia.
I don't mean to offend you, it's just illness, take care of it.

cd darkcoin.git ; git tag | grep v0.10
git clone https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin.git
git checkout v0.10.14.1

BUILD ACCORDING TO DISTRO (cat install)

git checkout master

EDIT: not a 0.9 I believe.

just wondering.... wasn't the code just reviewed by what's his face?

Whats his face did not get endorsed to praise DRK. He got crowdfunded to review the anonymity and structural foundations of Darksend.
That has zero to do with potential off-beat exploits. Exploits happen in every single realm of the coding world. Get real.

DRK becomes stronger by the day. An exploit that got dealt with under 3 hours... how many top mega software companies can say the same?

A code review, especially by one person, cannot uncover every conceivable bug or exploit. The list of K.A. was quite extensive on possible attack vectors (and Evan took pre-emptive / corrective action on some of them). But that doesn't change the fact that the more eyes on the code, the better chances there are to uncover issues.

They paid for a review but all they really wanted was hype for a pump and dump.  Looks like all they did was waste their bitcoin.

Okay you caught me.  Big fucking deal.  90% of the people posting are using multiple accounts and you know it.

But I see that you're trying to change the subject.

The subject is YOU ARE A TROLL and the discussion ends there.

Other than that, it's normal programming as usual. You make something, you patch the bugs that appear, you move on.  Predictable stuff. As far as there is no fundamental problem (and there isn't) a project is ok.

If for every bug that occurred a coin was dead, then Bitcoin should have died a long time ago - back in the era of producing millions of coins.

As if YOU have the final say.  Too funny.

Now listen up alex.  You are nothing more than a darkcoin bagholder and it's human nature that you would lash out at someone like me for exposing the thing that you hold dearly as the scam that it is.  So because of that I forgive you for any past, present, and future attacks on me.

Now lets not make this about me.

Lets talk about that recent darkcoin exploit.  This is the darkcoin thread now isn't it?

You are a sad troll that makes tens of sockpuppet accounts with language variations to spice it up and make it seem "legit". Who in their right mind would waste their day, creating multiple accounts, posting multiple threads and posts, just to TROLL a coin? Huh You are either the biggest loser alive, or have financial interest in doing this.

As for the exploit: Exploits like these, as far as I'm concerned, are predictable. You can't have 100% hardening from day one - whether we are talking about server software, banking software, cryptographic software, cryptocurrency software etc. It requires multiple attack vectors to be deployed and dealt with / patched.

Now lets not make this about me.

!!!  Shocked

Are you kidding ? Now that you've turned up you can be sure that no other subject will get a look in for the next 5 pages.

If you notice, darkcoin is slowly inching up.  It must be that shojayxt effect.  Whenever I post the price of darkcoin goes up.  You guys should be paying me.  We do pretty good with this Good Cop - Bad Cop thing.

Peace :-)
