Why is Coinbase looking at zcash and not dash?
Because of its Instamine and centralization (Dash Core Group Inc has 100% management and control), Dash cannot meet the strict requirements of the GDAX Digital Asset Framework.
Built on the shaky, shady foundation of those issues, there are additional problems with the Masternode HYIP's status as an unregistered security, Masternode facilitation of money laundering (PrivateSend), and the new scheme of Kuvacash-style VCOs (bribing MNOs with tokens in exchange for votes to fund private entities).

All the coins listed above have performed much better than dash over the last 2 years. Infact dash is the worst performer in the top 20 over year to date. Do you care about actually making money, or just a pie in the sky?
If you think that's bad then you ain't seen nothin yet.
Evo probably won't be out till 2019 in beta and 2020 in full production with bells and whistle's as originally advertised. It's a pretty ambitious project so get ready to test 2014 and 2015 support

Regulators Worldwide Shift From Crypto Ban Approach to Light Regulation
Regulators in South Korea, India, and the United States have shifted their regulation focus from attempting to ban cryptocurrencies to a lighter and more nuanced approach.
South Korean regulators will be announcing new proposed rules at an upcoming session of The National Assembly on July 13 to July 26. One regulator wants additional regulations on exchanges to prevent money laundering, cybercrimes, and data leaks, while another called for strengthening cryptocurrencies’ security measures. These desires follow the same path as the recent South Korean government’s announcement that they plan to reverse the ICO ban that was enacted in September of 2017.
I strongly support more regulatory laws from governments.

Hi everyone. Just popping in to say, if you have updated your masternodes, please double check them. There are still several running the old protocol (70208) and it needs to be 70210. Make sure you updated sentinel (cd into sentinel folder and issue git pull) Also we are on version 12.3.2 so if you're behind, please update

Hate to say this, but I don't want to see fudsters who are chatting around the forum and spreading their shitty FUDs as their naive initiatives to dump coins, particularly top altcoins, in order to buy as cheap good altcoins as possible.

Dash is a privacy coin is there is future in privacy coin
Dash is much more then just a privacy coin. Dash focus heavily on its transaction processing role, trying and succeeding to improving and strengthening that.
Dash vision is simple, become a mainstream adopted fast peer to peer low costs transaction provider as envisioned by Satoshi Nakamoto, that can provide instant settlement on its multi-tiered network. As a bonus it also offers optional privacy on its transactions.
For other cryptocurrencies that focus solely on privacy (Monero, Zcash), one can indeed wonder if there will be growing demand
in the future or if it will remain a niche market to them. Already some of those cryptocurrencies show a declining volume and stagnating transaction numbers.
