Could it be a big exchange dumping part of its holdings to get some BTCs?

Well if this guys goal was to totally destroy the price it looks like he's succeeding. What an outstanding citizen.

Its so ridiculous you just have to sit back and laugh...I'm curious as to when we'll hit negative numbers.

If i well anderstand you just need privkey to import and no need the adress ?

Does paper wallet use this method ?
The privkey is what the address is made from. If you have the privkey, the client makes the address out of it.

It's just like GPG.

This is the reason why your BTC(S) could be saved. BTCS and BTC used the same schema becasue BTCS was copypasta from BTC. If not for that, you'd have lost your coins.

Mintpal exported the privkey from BTCS wallet and imported it to the BTC wallet, it generated the exact same address, and poof, you got your coins back. This is the exact same thing.

Exact same function at work. ;-)

Does it mean if i sent TBC to the TBCS adress again, TBC gone in my TBC wallet directly because pivkey was already import ?
Does that method use  transaction fees or that just add a new adress in the wallet ?

EDIT :
Does it mean i can try to generat aleatory privket and import it to my wallet ?
Does it need the password ?

The wallet where we want import the privkey, if he already have a password, what happen ?
Does its must be a virgin wallet or can be import in existing wallet (with DRK in different adress)?

No idea about fees but if you have the privkey you can import it into any wallet you like, but you'll need that wallet's passphrase to do anything with it subsequently.

I bet the guy who posted rants anytime there was a sell off has shot himself by now.

For some reason, I find that morbidly funny.   Grin

Looks like we're going down.

I'm thinking it returns to it's original value before darksend pump (around $1.50/each)

Has anyone tried using paper.darkcoin.io? Is it safe? https://paper.darkcoin.io still has an invalid certificate (I won't repeat my browser's warnings here, they're rather alarmist).

Has anyone tried using it or the http: version, or can confirm a good way to check the javascript hasn't been tampered with by a 3rd party?

I used this one.
https://github.com/internetape/paperwallet

download, go offline, open index.html in your web browser
generate wallet(s), print.
go online, send like 1 drk to each just to check, and try to import one of them into your wallet, to see if it works.

I just do a dumpprivkey in the console, paste the output to a text editor and print it out, don't see the need for a 3rd party tangle of code. No disrespect to InternetApe, whom I of course adore.

Can you do screen copy step buy step of this please ?

I'm currently busy stealing the artwork for the upcoming official wallet and giving my masternode tools suite a new paintjob...  Grin

Just disable darksend, move all your DRK into a new address, then go to Help>Debug window>Console and type listaddressgroupings - copy the address with all your DRK in it, then type dumpprivkey and it'll spit out the privkey for that address. Copy and save it/guard it as you see fit.

To import it into another wallet, go to the console and type importprivkey and wait a while, it'll import the balance of that privkey which will then no longer be available in the old wallet.

Simples. Try it out with a small amount.

Ok thx, can i do it with my MN wallet ?

If yes, if i loosing my MN wallet, in can import my 1000 DRK in a new Wallet.

It can be a very very good starting point to be safe.

does the private can change after update or its for life ?

Thx

Yes, you can do it with your MN wallet. The DRK will stay in that wallet until you import the privkey (and thus the DRK)  into another one. As Oblox pointed out you have to unlock your wallet first, I always forget that step!
