Meh, my traceroute is back to being re-routed through northern virginia again...
Who's based in Virginia and funds Tor?  Wink
I'm not using TOR right now... But your point is well taken. I suspect the same.

I bet all these problems clear up instantly if I take this wallet, put it on my laptop, and grab a public WiFi far, far away.

Within seconds of pulling the check mark off of "disable darksend" I get payment to self. Then nothing... Set to 100/8. Logs are useless. There's nothing in them except the usual comm traffic, blocks popping, non-updated MNs getting rejected... No DS noise at all.

Other wallet denomed 100/8 really fast. It only has 100 in it.

The only difference is that one wallet is 1% the size of the other. Both are set to denom only 100 at 8 rounds.

Meh, my traceroute is back to being re-routed through northern virginia again...

Coin control shows it's still breaking up into 900 chunks even thought it's set to 100/8.

Fuck this noise. It's my b-day. I'm off to make poor decisions in the company of sordid women,..
Can I try to give you a b-day present by trying to fix your problems?
...can I use that line...cause thats awesome.
Even better; it looks like I'll have to wait until Sunday for that...

You don't need my permission. ;-)

I've decided I'm just going to let these things run and go do some sandblasting. My parkerizing fluid has magically transformed itself into rust accelerant again, so I've got a lot of work to do anyway...

Ok dude...  I'm no genius, but I know my masternode network damn well. 0% complaints from dozens customers with dozen OS's and freak setups.

GhostPlayer...he was responding to my request to use his statement...lol.    He's saying he needs to go into the workshop and blow some steam.   I know what he means, cause I some times need to do the same.  Wink   We'll let him go have some fun in the shop and get back at it later on.

It interesting that Camosoul is saying that it might be that if the wallet has a super large balance it might be triggering something. ?

Well... that because apparently, you're one of the fattest wallets on mainnet to actively open your balance to be denominated. As soon as other like you think the same, your tx will be accepted as fast as f*ck (to the prematurely DRK-ejaculated folk).

Denomination works with the powers of numbers. Right now there aren't many. You can easily anonymise 1 DRK, but 10000 DRK is a lot harder since there are not so many people out there doing the same!

If I create a 10k wallet and keep it running, will it solve Camo's problem? Is this something we can try?
I could just make myself two 5250 wallets on two VMs and do it myself... Maybe it's a work around, but that doesn't get to the bottom of it.
I reported some minor bug at http://jira.darkcoin.qa/ and the genious Holger Schinzel found the problem within 10 hours.  Wink

They dump upon every buy support that is built...

Yea I'm starting to think it's manipulation. Pretty irritating.

I'm pretty sure many of those big dumps were real. At least the last one to .006 on mintpal. A 5k wall showed before the dump which proves my theory that altcoin markets are scams. It was probably the market maker ( The Biggest Whale, owner of those annoying bots, pumper ) that got information that 4k drk's arrived on the exchange. So he wanted to spook him to quickly dump and it happened. But how did he know that those coins hit the exchange?!? Mintpal is a fucking scam operation, transfers should be confidential. But I bet other trading centers for altcoins are no better. Making special deals with market makers in return for volume fees.

Probably noone will believe me, people are so gullible thinking this markets is a fair game for little fish...

People are just now catching on that Wall Street is rigged so I'm not surprised if people don't think this kind of thing go happen easy.  Just reading around the forum gives me the impression that small groups of people with the money and means could easily manipulate alt coins.  Sucks for those unaware it is possible but can be rewarding with those paying attention and keeping an open mind especially at times like these..  Wink

I agree.  its possible in wall street and its possible in crypto.  I really think that most of those major holders here are serious backer but you only need a couple to screw things up a bit.  That is the risk.  It only becomes better once there is wider adoption.

I'm not trying to avoid your help, sir. I just had a theory and it's taking me some time to test it. So far, it looks like I'm onto it.

Theory: No matter what you set the "Amount of drk to keep anoned" to, if you've got a truckload in your wallet, it skips over all kinds of shit.

I sent 100 to a new wallet, set it anon 100/8deep, flawless...

Sent 7000 to another new wallet, which was set to anon 100/8deep; toot-toot, all aboard the bork train... Never gets the message that it's too soon to split again... The record is skipping for some reason when there's a bigass wallet.

But, I set the limit the same on both. There is apparently a threshold of DRK at which is just goes all wonky no matter what you set the darksend limit to.

Camo... dammit it ... this is too much forum noise. Do you IRC ?

YES !!!

But dont expect it to be magical! We need an entire community with open denominated wallets to mix the coins!!
Ok I'll kill 10 of my masternodes for this experiment. Hopefully it works. It would also be good if Evan could take a look at Camo's issue.
