As an "investor" maybe you should look at all those other bitcoin based anoncoins and find out if their methods are being reviewed. They can promise the world, how anon their solutions are is unknown. How secure their networks are from attack. Unknown.

Dark is being reviewed by kristov atlas. The transaction fees to denominate your coins keep the network safe. And speed up the transactions required. The masternode fees are to pay masternode operators for putting 1000 dark on hold to support the system. The system is designed with security and longevity in mind.

Make your choice(s) but kindly stop the I'm just offering fud as a "neutral concerned investor" bullshit.

If everyone was buying cheap DRK's like they say then the price wouldn't keep going down.  Most of those people saying "More cheap Darks" are not buying and they know it.  You might be scooping up some cheap coins but you're not going to lift this market alone.  

The problem right now is that most of the people hyping DRK the most are already 100% invested in DRK and have no btc to buy more.

So I was trying to figure out my 'line in the sand' for a support level that, if broken, I would have to finally take my long-term DRK profits. And I realized the long-term DRK chart looked very very familiar...
I introduce you to a fractal. Bitcoin has gone through many of these already. They're one of the coolest (because they can be ridiculously accurate) and sometimes scariest (because they can stop being accurate and all hell can break loose) phenomenons that occurs naturally in the environment and in stocks/bonds/currencies/etc.

Essentially, the April to August price and volume action has copied the April 21-May 3 timeframe. Personally, in my all my years of working in investments I've seen many price fractals but never seen price with volume fractals.
And coincidentally enough, other chart methods I use (unrelated to the fractal) tell me to make my line in the sand at the high (.00555) from that April 21-May 3 timeframe. Hopefully this fractal continues to bear fruit and we're really in that May 3-4 region and DRK takes off here soon in a huge way again with volume.
We'll see..

Except that every coin has fees. Even the CN coins are obligated to charge fees (higher than Bitcoin) to prevent transaction spam attacks. There are no frictionless systems. You're welcome to go back to wire transfers. Enjoy your $50 fees and 5-7 business day transaction times.

i just stae my opinion on masternode servers. as a neutral investor looking in at these technolgy, i can say that masternode server is like dinosaur when compare to other anon solutions.

Is like 1995 bagphone, compare to iphone5.  The fees are very much and when investor use the drkcoin for anon,  then fees will pile up and make it hard for investor to use drkcoins. then investor will use another coin. who is first at building anon matters none. building anon that work and people can afford to use and will use in future is the goal.

I simply say that much better solution is scrap this system and rebuild it now before investor realize and dump coin.

People who need to talk about their "Fat Stacks" normally have the smallest stacks...

And cryptonote coins are true P2P.  No masternode network required.  But they have been taking a hit as well.  I don't think that anonymity is as big of a deal to the majority of people as it is to the diehard DRK'rs.  It was just the latest fad.  Mainstream commercial adoption where the money is doesn't care about anonymity.  DRK may very well be the best anonymous coin one day but it will still only occupy a small niche market.

Also, progress is being made on the bloat issue and one cryptonote coin is already doing some pruning of the blockchain.
