around 8.30pm today, roughly 5 coins, bc,doge, ltc, drk, clk were all dumped, then btc was dumped for usd. What we have is a whale or whale group cashing out..around 2000+ btc.

some serious dumping of most alts on btce , just now ppc, nmc, ltc and btc dumped at the same time aswell as a few coins on other exchanges.
drk is spared because whales got out ages ago and tried to get us to dump with them. We held because we didnt want to play their silly games and hoddled for a MN.
i hear foolio hasnt been around for a week.

While the market sleeps,

Late January, I stood on a field overlooking my daily charges, children roaming to and fro.  I teach.  My assistant wandered by and asked me how my coins were doing in his friendly way.  There was one that I had just found that appealed to me.  We talked about darkcoin and the possibilities.  It wasn't until a few days later that I bought from Poloniex and held my first dark, I had missed out on the vertcoin pump, but I didn't understand really why something that appealed to miners and not end-users was soaring so high.  I held dark, traded some every time it hit resistance at .002 and benefited from the c-cex dumper who kindly came to spread his wares on Polo.  I felt more at ease holding dark than btc, so I stopped trading.  It held it's value for 2 months, boring many, and yet I was sure that it didn't matter, something would come of this.
April, murmurs in the market.  The move upwards was startling.  I was sure that Dark belonged in the top 5 by market cap and the market came around to this view.  I was restless, didn't sleep well because this rather small investment was now worth more than half my yearly salary.  I was prudent, father of 3 young kids, so I sold out half my position, cleared debt, repaid savings of my initial crypto investment.
The market has been relentless with the noise.  A new anom solution daily, thankfully it is slowing down now.  I understand the desire to capture the magic of Dark's early rise.   I appreciate the hard work of everyone involved in this project.  Something the anom guru said recently caught my eye, from the mint himself, Darkcoin may surprise us because Evan is a doer instead of a talker.  Thank you Dev for working so hard, it is obvious that you have been relentless in your pursuit.
Time is all mine,  I am excited for the days and years to come.  Long Dark and proud.

Well, 66% volume on Poloniex mate, no guessing required.

Fine, well, I used to spend far too much time on that TrollBox, I was there when Monero was launched on the exchange.

I got involved in a lot of fights with the Pump Team members because they had one strategy, discredit DRK with every breath they had.

But I did have a lot of fun... Chaeplin and AlexGR would list all the inherent problems with Monero and I would just ninja mention them in conversation when I decided to fight back with a little concern trolling myself.

I eventually got chased outta there... If I knew Camo back then, dang I would have invited him to come play...

Camo's Troll defence level: Expert.

Anyone else feel the market is being controlled?

Ltc trading at 0.01 Btc.

Drk trading at $5

Monero at $2

These round numbers don't seem very "efficient".

I'm with you all the way on that one... It just doesn't smell right the entire market having such a large swing on the eve of RC4...
Implies that big players have bots controlling market. I guess that's probably obvious to some of you guys. I wonder if these bots don't belong to some of these exchanges themselves.

Mate, I might be going out on a limb here, but in my limited experience, there is a direct correlation between pump team activity and coin volume.  I noticed that when I used to hang around in the wrong circles and frequent chat boxes on exchanges.

I'm not naming any exchanges, but the XMR volume does not match up with pump team activity.  Volume is high, pump team dribble is low, so I'm smelling some manipulation...

Anybody know anything about this

BITCOINDARK

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/btcd-is-no-more-684090

I know that it promises big things with a low amount of coins and people are excited enough to give it a nice pump recently. Things are most likely priced in now and everyone is waiting on them to deliver.
