over the past few days i have seen alot of fud on twitter to dump drk, its very similar to the btce trollbox, the place thats scared of innovation. ive noticed people trying to convince drk holders to dump. most noobs listen and do as they are told however, the fud this time is actually nothing. They just keep saying drk will not go higher so sell, lol.
Then if you look at the volumes on bittrex for shitcoins it is crazy at times 500btc daily on untested/unheard of coins, after a few days the volume dries up and the cycle begins with a new coin.
drk price can easily go over 0.02 once masternodes are fully operational with payments and rc4 is completed with new features. Think what will happen to the price if 300/500 more masternodes join the network next month.
im also convinced one of the main reasons btc went from $1 to $50 (around 11 million btc supply)was because people assumed they could do annon trans on sr, so when drk is complete and a dr was to open what would happen to drk price then?( 4.4million supply) Cool

This is whats really going on! ASIC raping LTC, and LTC bagholder runnning for their lives. This is what is tickling's DRK price down, and big investors are just loving it, because when they bombard back into DRK (next dev stage), well ...

Can anyone explain to me what this chart means??  What does the green represent, what does the pink?  What does the shift left to right indicate and the hight?  I've been trying to understand for a while now, but I'm so clueless!  Thanks!

It's volume of buys and sells in litecoin. Red is the volume of sells, green volume of buys.

Thank you.  I can see that the hight might be total sells/buys on the books, but what is the shift left/right?  Or is it literally somehow calculated as a volume such as price X number of coins and then it's fitted into the chart filling up as much space as is allowed, LOL?  It's just weird??  Thanks again Smiley

Oh!  I'm seeing it now, thank you again for your help!

Last question, where do you find these charts please?

you can find them on the exchange markets.

I know I've seen it somewhere in this thread, but I can't locate it now...

Was there an explanation for setting up a masternode with cold storage wallet (maybe even windows wallet?)

Here you go:

Remote-Local configuration:

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/remote-masternode-guide-updated.410/

General guides:

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/how-to-set-up-ec2-t1-micro-ubuntu-for-masternode-part-1-3.240/

Guide how to update your node:

https://darkcointalk.org/threads/how-to-set-up-ec2-t1-micro-ubuntu-for-masternode-part-3-3.262/

Much obliged

Check out darkcointalk.org.  There is a whole section on guides:
https://darkcointalk.org/forums/guides.32/

Start with El Presidente's tutorials (chaeplin): https://darkcointalk.org/threads/how-to-set-up-ec2-t1-micro-ubuntu-for-masternode-part-2-3.241/unread

Or not.....

because there are many new tutorials now.  You're bound to find one that speaks to you.  chaeplin's guide was based off of renting an Amazon tiny instance but you may find something closer to how you want to set up your node in one of the other threads.  Good luck!  You'll learn a lot doing that, it's fun!

It's volume of buys and sells in litecoin. Red is the volume of sells, green volume of buys.

Just to clarify - it's the volume of *orders* - not actual trades. More correct terminology is "bids" (the green) and "asks" (the red).

Overall - "Market Depth".  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Market_depth

How do you know someone dumped 5k? Guessing or have you combined the last few sales on mintpal?

How do I know? The massive 4750 sell order on Mintpal that went through. Fuck that cunt's unfortunate existence.

How many MN we have at that time?
How can you explain linear lowering of the price immediately after RC3?

Sold my MN on 0.015 and bought XC on 0.0015.. 15BTC become 25BTC.. yeah, I'm stupid until others prefer to wait their 1DRK !? Daily !? Jesus...

Man, you absolutely have no clue at all at the big picture...  Grin

I put some coins into the original bounty.

I'd be happy to do it again for an independent code audit bounty. Not to set out which is the best coin, but which anonymity project does what it says on the packaging.

There are many anon projects, each would have to step up to the challenge.

This is one option to sort out the constant adverts and FUD from others that come here.

This would help people like me to choose which coin to invest in, rather than randomly going around trying to figure out whose telling the truth and doing their best to produce strong technical implementations, compared to those who are just out for a quick pump using smoke and mirrors.

Nonsense, the LTC->DRK trend has almost no influence on the price of Darkcoin. Only 393$ was traded in the last 24 hours on Mintpal between DRK and LTC, which is about 0.14% of all the trading. Chart may look interesting but what really matters is the volume.

Notice I said "tickling" DRK's price... Downtrend DRK prices is peanuts volume too.
