Hey guys, potential investor here but I have some questions first...

I would like to know when your anonymous functions will be fully operational and stable, and I would like to know that there is definitely progress in your work.  I can't just take your word for it, I'm sure you understand.  Lots of scammers out there... you know how it is.

Also I need to see the source code for proof.  I understand that the checkblock function can still cause major forking issues and I want to make sure that has been cleared up aside from disabling it.

I want the answer directly from the dev, not some random person.

do your own damn research next time:

Then wait a few months, and come back when the source code is open.

Sounds like a scam, why the wait? Has there been any peer review of the code by an external source?

+1

Also maybe offer of a bounty once the code is published to see if it can be cracked.

Also can someone confirm, is DRK actually anonymous at all?

Any chance you lot can find Chaeplin some code DRK code fixing role? There are surely plenty of items to keep him busy... He has failed miserably at FUDing the XC thread all night so maybe you can keep him busy here? Not sure he has any talent but if you could make him feel wanted we would all be most grateful.

Alternatively please just send him on a fishing trip

If you think its FUD, I would be interested to see an audit by independents. I know that there were some early attempts, but you know, without labouring the point, code auditors.

I would read it, but Australia tax rules: really?

Couldn't you find a link to a buxom-blonde-blue eyed- bomb-shell, with tightly configured hips, wrapped around a surfboard; possibly with a darkcoin or bitcoin tattoo on her left buttock? Sorry chaps, drifted off to crypto fantasy land there for a second.

This is very interesting right here

Maybe Evan or InternetApe could talk and offer him to be part of the code audit after RC4. He is very interested in anonymity and for sure we can get a very valued an unbiased analysis from him.

He reads this thread all the time (Hi Chris  Wink) The only downside is that he mines, or used to mine, Anoncoin.  Still, he would be a good code auditor.

But this code audit thing, it is necessary, but it really is only a temporary issue.

The nature of open source code is that every man and his cat will be going through the code.  The competition will be there first - these guys are where the code auditing feedback really counts because they will get the biggest megaphone to shout down the DRK one if there are problems, and keep deadly quiet except for the instamine FUD if there is nothing but sweetness, light and kick-ass code kung-fu from Evan-san.

I am going to ask the ATO for a separate tax form for each one of my alts...

Then if I get Audited I will move everything into Bumbacoin and redirect them to the BumbaCoin ANN...

Seems as if DoRK/ is a Westerner coin, particularly the United States. It rose this morning and seems to be weakening as the daytraders on the East Coast are starting to call it a day.

He doesn't realize that the entire Bitcointalk.org's population is mostly from the United States....

I would actually like to see a formal date for master node payments. It is behind schedule now. Stuff happens, I get it, I'm in tech myself....however you should have a goal for anticipated completion. If it needs to move to the right again for good reason that is fine, but any project should have a plan and attempt to stick to it.

End of June.

Fine, I didn't know that guanchayuan was asking every single day despite you explained him.

I think the only way to calm down people asking for open source is to give a date of release.

This makes no sense.

There is no reason for a fixed date on anything.  There is no waiting client, no year end, no tax points, no waiting tenants that must move, no Christmas orders that must be met.

Get it done right always beats get it done and fix problems after.

As the Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation recently said, some people may rely on anonymity solutions such as DRK to protect their liberty. Only fools rush in.

In programming, nothing is ever complete.  You just get to a point that is "acceptable" and bugs are discovered as you go.  That said, you need to have some kind of date when holders of masternodes can be expected to get paid considering that electricity isn't free.

I have some masternodes and I don't want a specific date, late June, early July is good enough for me. No need to rush things. But thanks for your concern.

Precisely my train of thought as well. After the payment fork and all the issues, I'd rather have a flexible idea of when to expect payouts vs a hard date which may or may not get moved around depending on testnet bugs.
