I just bought a boatload as Evan appears to have ditched the checkpoint system and fixed the underlying forking issue.

While I still have my core holdings, I've sold all of my coin I use to trade and lower my price point. Reason being, the fundamentals, at present, have changed. Darkcoin currently has a centralized point of failure. Granted, it's only temporary according to Evan and I do believe in him as a coder, but until DRK does not have a centralized point of failure, I cannot invest more and feel the trend will be down as I know I'm not the only person who feels that way.

Good to read this. With checkpointing was fine as a precaution, but this is so much better!!

That's unfortunate that myFarm got rid of his coins because he had weak hands. Nothing in the code is finalized until it is released!

You are, like most people assuming that people bought before the masternode payments started, but you are using the traditional "buy the hype, sell the news" approach - which doesn't apply here.

This is flawed. Most investors did "NOT" buy before the masternode payments started. >$12 approaching $15 was the natural price before the crash with some help of a few buyers getting in ahead of time wanting masternodes. The reality is that the majority of investors are watching and waiting for masternode payments to begin successfully and will invest then.

By this logic - the price will at least approach $12 again, if not $15 before release. Once it's proven to work it will likely rise rapidly.
