Do you think DRK's price could be lower?
My crystal ball says: potato.

You better sell me your DRKs. I'm such a nice guy I'll take them off your hands even though they're totally worthless for no apparent reason.

I promise not to go back to Trollhunter mode... ;-)

And which shitcoin are you spreading FUD for?

Funny how nzminer is lying. Zerocoin has been abandoned by its devs, so there are no coins coming out with its protocol....This guy is lying through his teeth..

I can think of at least one coin that is going to be using it, ill let you do the research! Grin
Anoncoin? LOL

Hmmm a lot of copy and paste has zericoin lib in src.

example)
https://github.com/vericoin/master/tree/master/src/zerocoin
https://github.com/PinkDev/Pinkcoin/tree/master/src/zerocoin
https://github.com/ccryptcoin/cryptcoin/tree/master/src/zerocoin

Id say its safe to assume they are using zerocoin in some shape or form.

Lol Nzminer I think it's safe to assume you don't understand the point Chaeplin was trying to make. Just because you add code into the source doesn't mean it works.

Oh Zerocoin, so nice. So nice that even the guys who invented Zerocoin are moving on to something more advanced.

The Buck Stops Here.
Cryptonote coins are still in their early stages.  Darkcoin has 4 months of development lead.  Then there is the fact that a QT wallet already existed for Darkcoin to use since it is basically a bitcoin clone.  Anyone that doesn't think that cryptonote coins will not be serious contenders if not leaders in anonymity are seriously underestimating them.  I'd bet that you have taken at least a small stake in them.

Cryptonote isn't a real competitor there are too many limitations.

If anyone ever disputes receiving payment, you have no recourse. You can not generate a TX id without exposing your one and only private key exposing all your funds.

Also it is impossible to prune the block chain with cryptonote. This leads to a huge disk space requirement already rivaling Bitcoin's five year size.

In it's current form, CryptoNote coins are unable to be used as a currency until the above problems are resolved.

What is weak about selling for a profit and using that btc to make more profit on other coins.  It's not weak it's smart.

I agree with this remark.

But I don't think I agree with you about competition.

There really is no substitute for working at something and pushing it till you have a practical solution. That seems to be what's going on here. I've been playing around with some "crypto note" stuff lately and I can confidently declare that I think they are garbage. I can't even get my Monero off an exchange because there's nowhere for it to go - no wallet that doesn't require you to be a Unix geek for example.

I lost a load of it getting it onto an exchange because I didn't have a "Payment ID". That stuff is going nowhere. The devs can't even get a GUI wallet together for a Mac after weeks of it being launched. The two coins that actually are "happening" right now in terms of development and dedication are:

[1] - Darkcoin

[2] - Jackpot coin

You may think that that second one is a joke - it isn't. I just included it because it's a dream to use and seems to have a Dev that is determined to come up with a complete product that is rock solid, Those two have those things in common and the cryptonote stuff just doesn't.

Hey, I hope Dark succeeds.  To many people have invested more than they should have in it and it would be a shame to see them lose money.  But the longer the main feature that has been hyped for months keeps getting pushed back the more people will lose faith in Darkcoin and it will continue to lose both value and support.  Without the anonymity feature functioniong 100%, Darkcoin has nothing.

Darkcoin's price becoming low. Is this good price to buy?

If I could afford I'd definitely buy more DRKs now.

Do you think DRK's price could be lower?

Yes, its dropping as we speak....

Of course not, thats up to the devs to make it work, since its open source though, anyone should be able to work with it.
Anyway the comments about the developers abandoning zerocoin doesnt make it dead, the source is still alive.
The developers of one coin in particular have already stated they are 70% complete on implementing it.

Gotta say you guys selling at this price in hopes of buying back lower have balls.
I'd like to do the same but at this price its far too much of a gamble for me, I think  Huh

You should have sold above .002.

Many people get left holding the bag while all these people screaming "to the moon"  and "it's going to $300", "it will replace bitcoin" etc...  Are actually selling and making btc.

For all you believing in the 'double top there is only a way down scenario'. This stock picture of apple says it all!

Are you actually trying to compare an altcoin to a behemoth like Apple that actually makes products that work and are used by millions of people everyday?  Darkcoin is just another cryptocurrency that could fade away tomorrow and the world would never know or care.

I was a big supporter of Darkcoin until it turned into a cult like following.  People need to keep their expectations realistic.  Darkcoin peaked and is unlikely to hit the level it was at anytime soon.  Also, to those that keep talking "hold for long term", how long are you going to hold?  And regarding the common saying used in this thread "shaking out the weak hands", the weak hands have been getting shaken out for months.  What is weak about selling for a profit and using that btc to make more profit on other coins.  It's not weak it's smart.

There is a lot of competition these days.  Darkcoins value has always been based off of it anonymity feature and that has not been delivered.  You can only push things back for so long before people start doubting everything and move on.  On top of that there are new coins using the cryptonote protocol that offers anonymity without the need for a complicated masternode network.  Once the GUI is out for those coins and they have addressed bloating on the blockchain, all of the major arguments against cryptonote coins will be gone.

I dumped all the DRK I had above .002 and plan on buying back at the bottom which isn't even close yet.  But I guess I'm those weak hands getting shaken out.  I would rather be weak and rich in BTC than a bagholder.
