Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if someone and an exchange were on the wrong fork, that person sent in coin, sold it, then withdrew, couldn't they end up with BTC and the original DRK and screw the exchange?
That's the only reason I can think of for disabling accounts.

Don't forget people laughed at thomas Edison. Personally, if bitcoin was released after darkcoin, would anybody care about bitcoin?
Edison was a total crook, he stole other peoples ideas and modified them, he rubbished Tesla's Superior technology, and people laughed at Tesla, who was the real innovator.
Likening Darkcoin to Edison is not a good idea.....
Well thats just it, he didnt invent the light bulb, but he was the first person to make a practical light bulb that lasted, mainly due to developing better vacuum pumps etc.

Probably here is not the best place to ask, but it could help others to understand the exchange reactivation process.
My Questions to experience trades on similar situations with other coins:
1) the exchange will release an announcement some minutes before the market reactivation or just will reopen and the release the announcement?
2) they will reset the order book?

There should be a way to disable anyone using the old versions, from using them. That would practically Force them to update.

They disabled my account as well. Strange. Anyone else?Wouldn't worry about it - I expect you guys all had open orders and the account was disabled to prevent them going through when the market is enabled. I didnt have any open orders before the shutdown and my account is still working fine.
Yeah I had open orders in DRK and others. Obviously I can't check DRK but I still see my other open orders on the books. I do wish they would have removed my orders to play it safe.

Just wanted to add that these trolls might actually love darkcoin and want to drive the price down to buy more for themselves. Humans, are so crafty.
The price will go down regardless. As soon as the markets open dark will get dumped.

It looks like open orders I had are still on their books so that's pretty shitty since I can't control them at all now. I hope they resolve this quickly, I sent in a ticket an hour and a half ago but no reply yet. I guess they have a number of them go to through but shit :/
