FAQ update:
The introduction of RC2 masternode payment system led to network instability and fork issues due to some yet to be discovered issue which has not appeared under testing/trial conditions (testnet).
A new wallet was launched to revert masternode payments on the 27th of May, so users, mining pools and exchages should update to latest wallet. Mining and network transactions are affected, so do not mine unless your pool is on the right fork and do not make transactions until the fork issue is solved. Some exchanges have frozen trading for precaution but assets on exchanges and wallets are safe.
The issue should be resolved with the patch. Masternode payments will be re-introduced after reviewing the problem and eliminating the problematic functionality.

You think people will sell that much after the problem is solved and it actually starts working ok again? Panic buying will ensue imo.
There were so many people complaining they missed DRK. Lets see what they do.
I started buying after the very first big panic when somone stole some bitcoin or something from an exchange and bought some DRK before starting to crash the price. The upward trend hasn't stopped since then. Lets see what happens when binaries are compiled for stable fix shortly.

There's also this thing called a network memory pool...This Emo Angst is all a result of not bothering to learn how it works. I've got a fuckload more money tied up in DRK than anyone else in this thread, I'll bet.

people I have introduced to crypto who see how successful I am always ask me when they should buy or sell. if you ask these questions you don't have the intuition for this
I want DRK to succeed enough that I've ignored 2 very obvious opportunities to sell and buy back. I was dead on with my predictions for it. But, I didn't want to cause any waves with my large moves... I like DRK, it's a damn good idea.
I make enough off of the panics, no need to get greedy... There's more food on the table than I can eat as it is.
Im exactly the same but cant help but feel Ive missed an opportunity.

Wow just woke up to all of this. Confirms my suspicion a lot of people trading in crypto have ADD or something similar. If Apple has a delay in the roll out of a new product, does their share price drop 40%? Maybe this is a good thing - it will shake out all the crazies.

The major impact here is that people have lost perspective. Look at that version number again. I starts with a ZERO. Then a DOT. Then a ONE ZERO... How long has BTC been around and it still starts with a ZERO...
Sadly, version numbers have lost their meaning to most people. In the good old days incrementing that first number may have meant significant changes, and 0 meant unstable, but now when people see firefox and everyone else upping the version number every other month, it doesn't seem to give any indication on the state of things anymore, and it becomes overlooked on the stuff that it does.
