This is why I said Evan needed a stronger grip on the code and not to set such definite ALPHA-STAGE RC deadlines... He's shackled himself with too many demands. He's treating RCs like post-release upgrades. Why? Because he's a nice guy who gives into the pressure. Once you do that, the irrational demand becomes an entitlement and an expectation. The market bases itself on things it' shouldn't, becasue the shittraders show up with silly expectations made valid by someone willing to do it.
Then, something goes wrong.
Evan's mettle will be proved not by this impossible to maintain expectation of perfection, but in how he decides to deal with it. Forged on the anvil of adversity, with the fire of the stupid... No matter how smart you are, they'll come for you and act like it's all your fault shirking all responsibility of their own duty to be NOT FUCKING STUPID!

And as long this not really fixed, it is a massive problem for DRK's stability.
As soon as the stupid people stop being stupid, or sell out and delete the clients, the problem will be fixed.

This dump has nothing to do with "premine" or such stupid things. It is because the blockchain has forked several times. And as long this not really fixed, it is a massive problem for DRK's stability. Even the 2 block explorers show different blockheight.

If you were back in 2011 when there was a bitcoin flash crash, knowing what you know now about the price reaching $1,200 and settling back to today's $585, would you:
1) sell your bitcoins for next to nothing and move on to selling stuff on eBay? or
2) would you say, do you know what, lets stick with this interesting project, buy some cheap coins and see where it goes; I kinda like that they are trying to change the world, and I might make some money along the way?
