Hey guys, trying to shutdown my masternodes. I have them pointed to a machine that is no longer running, was a vm. In windows qt, I issue command masternode stop and I get not implemented yet. Not sure how to stop it.

All this stuff in these posts sound good and stuff but I just wonder what that hard fork will bring....

got a little scared that would mean dumping time!

I think it's a safe bet to assume there'll be another hard fork later on to fix bugs that appear live. The masternode payment system is a complex system and its doubtful that testnet has evaluated all possible scenarios where it can break.

I find it remarkable that someone, somewhere, even a complete Luddite, managed to avoid hearing about BitCoin's hardfork(s), and exactly what it is and what it means. Unless you were very literally born yesterday, how can you manage to avoid knowing this?

You watch crypto and you've never heard of a hardfork? Really? Is this even real? Have I entered the Twilight Zone?

The last several pages of really, really, really stupid posts have made me wonder if the thread just got hit by hired dummies here to make a mess... There's no way anyone who knows even the first thing about crypto can be asking the questions I'm seeing... How much are these people being paid to act like this?

Hey, Camosoul, you seem pretty thin-skinned. If these sorts of posts set you off like this, maybe you don't have the temperament for cryptocurrency investment.

glad you agree Camosoul, relax dude.

well shoot me...I was just thinking that there might be that possibility that this steep rise to RC2 was planned and the moment it´s released it will bring the hammer down and leave later investors in misery. Ok maybe I am just paranoid but that does not mean they are not after me.

Anyone know who the hell this guy is and what he's up to? It doesn't look like he's being malicious but you never know. Maybe he's going to try to sell us that domain.

can i have nodes plz. my wallet is not updateing

what version of wallet ??

GUys you must understand that you can't just delete darkcoin.exe wallet and download new and expect to sync!!!

1st show hidden folders
then go users/app data/roaming/Darkcoin

in that folder (DARKCOIN) delete everything except wallet.dat

THEN you start new wallet that you downloaded and let it SYNC from start!

it must work!!!!

Seriously? Was this explained anywhere else? Not in official website at least, or I just haven't noticed. Doing it now anyway.

It's common sense... I can't explain to you how to take a leak or why you should. Seeing this kind of thing makes me wonder if you can be trusted to secure your coins... It makes me wonder if crypto adoption is doomed because there's just not excuse for being this deep in it and having no idea what's going on...

The urgency with which I ask you to please RTFM cannot be understated. You'll lose your coins and then blame the crypto, spreading FUD...  When in reality, your refusal to get even the first clue is the real problem.

This question and answer scenario has not taught you anything except how to accidentally delete your wallet.dat, which you clearly haven't made a backup of because you didn't even know where it was...

Can someone explain to me why DRK is still rising when a wallet was just released for BTC that allows for anonymous transactions?

http://www.teambitcoin.com/blog/2014/5/8/darkwallet-here-to-make-bitcoin-anonymous-again

Doesn't this make DRK's "darksend" technology second rate?  I am a bit confused, can someone please explain to me or any potential investors?  Thanks

Do you REALLY trust a BROWSER PLUGIN with your money==?Huh

...thats the most stupid idea since "enter your creditcard information here to check if your creditcard was stolen".

This is the problem with mass adoption; the masses are incredibly stupid... I just ignore them to preserve my own sanity. I can't take any more abuse from stupid people in this lifetime. I've reached my quota.

I ignored that dumbass question because the one asking it is so far out of clue that I can't possibly help them without giving them a week long crash course in everything they've skipped over. Which said person will ignore because it's complicated, and continue to fumble on abusing the minds of others, refusing to put in the effort to learn.

It's why I got out of IT/Security. Being ordered by my boss to do dumb shit, then yelled at because it breaks or gets hacked. There is no substitute for LEARNING WHAT THE FUCK YOU'RE DOING! Quick answers are all people like that will listen to, and quick answers leave them still not knowing anything, but believing that they do... And so the conspiracy of mentally violent ignorance grows... This is where FUD comes from.
