Why Just "Hodling" Cryptocurrency Will Change the World - Dash Force News

Cryptocurrency, digital assets run by blockchain distributed ledger technology, have some pretty revolutionary features and use cases. They can cheaply and permanently send wealth faster than anything else. They can cryptographically prove your identity. They can run self-executing smart contracts instead of relying on an enforcement mechanism when people don’t keep to their deals. But what if I told you that one of the most world-changing things about digital currencies is simply having some?

Crypto is new

The first, best, and most basic benefit of wealth generated by digital assets is that it’s new. Even if this new money was no different from anything currently out there, just by being new it provides a valuable fresh start to the current wealth distribution. When you hit the reset button, there’s a chance at a new bunch of people of people getting in at the bottom and making it big. Seeing a fresh set of faces on the rich list is better than having the same few families and groups maintaining an iron grip on the world’s resources generation after generation.

Add DASH Support Into Bitnik Reload Proposal Update - Dash Force News

Bitnik Reload is a service that automatically rebuys your spent Bitcoins and Dash.  The most obvious use case is for ATM machines.  Say you have a Bitcoin / Dash ATM and the “funding” wallet has a balance $5,000 for each coin.  A number of people come along and buy $8,000 of Dash from the ATM all in 45 minutes.   How can this happen?  You are out of town at the beach with no internet.  Reload is buying Dash from a linked exchange account and moving it into the ATM “funding” wallet after each transaction to keep your ATM vending.

Good to know.

I've gotten into cryptos not too long ago and I look at ICOs a lot. Is it a better idea to buy older coins though like Dash though. I want to make money like everyone else, but I don't know where the best opportunity is.

The race among ICO's scared me as well because they are appearing like mushrooms from everywhere. I am sure we will people coming back to all time tested and community backed projects like dash. There is not even a single ICO so far succeeded to deliver whatever the promise was made during crowdfunding. Dash will be big winner again in future.

WTF lol
Monero Trolls still think they're in the same league as Dash?! What is this 2015?
Hate to break it to you but Dash has transcended the one trick Anon group a long time ago so run to the ZEC thread with your insecurities. Dash is an OG trailblazer going world wide and BTC is the only challenger left.

poloniex scam soon, go to other exchanges until it's too late

ethermine.org  - If you mine ETH or ETC to a @Poloniex wallet an have not received a tx don't create a ticket with us, contact @Poloniex support directly.

Polo credit your account for ETH and ETC only, if you receive more than 1 entire coin. (Recently it seems that for ETH it's lower as last 2 times they credit my account after 0.5ETH)

DiscoverDash Lists 100 Dash-Accepting Businesses and Growing

DiscoverDash has listed 100 Dash-accepting businesses worldwide so far, adding to its ever-increasing merchant database.

A project of Dash Force, DiscoverDash is a website and resource for the main street adoption of Dash as an everyday currency. In the cryptocurrency world, particularly the non-Bitcoin areas, there are many listings and resources for businesses and users, but very few complete or updated. Dash was no exception, with several incomplete listings, including the main resource at the Dash.org forums. With this cycle’s Dash Force initiative, part of its focus will be building a one-stop shop resource for Dash users and merchants. To that end, DiscoverDash aims to provide a powerful and current listing of all businesses accepting Dash worldwide. This accurate and updated listing recently hit the 100-count mark....

Chainalysis Found Missing Mt. Gox Funds? Underscores Need for Privacy and Accountability - Dash Force News

Chainalysis indicated that they know the exact location the missing Mt. Gox funds, emphasizing the need for both greater privacy and greater transparency in the blockchain world.

During a hearing on June 8th for the Subcommittee on Terrorism and Illicit Finance of the US House of Representatives, blockchain analysis firm Chainalysis revealed that they know without a doubt the destination of the missing funds from the now-defunct Mt. Gox exchange. Chainalysis has a partnership with US law enforcement and was the official investigator in the Mt. Gox bankruptcy case.

Do you invest in startup companies as well? If no, throwing money at ICOs is a big gamble that you shouldn't be doing unless you're prepared that 1/100 might succeed, while the rest will fail miserably. My recommendation would be to look at a solid base with coins that provide good strengths, be it privacy, transaction speeds, ease of use of something else.

I've been holding some assets for a long time, and the gains far outweigh anything I could consider by investing in any ICO. The risk in ICO's is great, so be cautious. Read up on Bitcoins fundamentals and compare that to the say top10 altcoins. I think that will give you a better idea if Bitcoin is the sole king you should invest in, or if there are other potential altcoins that have a promising feature set.
