Good deal. Just didn't want to spam like other coins do and most of us are not aggressive in marketing it seems. Maybe start list the names of the coins which are copy paste masters and expose them? I mean thanks for playing to them but no thanks
I was always under the impression that even old school members and BTC holders like this coin. I don't think that is the case as I saw a lot of them pumping Hirocoin for x11 (!!??), it is a shame really. I know for BTCers all clones could ideally fight with each other and die and all innovations die with it solidifying BTC.
Be careful with the posts in Alt section. You will receive some flak for "over-promotion"!

In other news....bitcoin is taking a bit of thumping today.
There are press rumours that the bank of china is about to stop banks from working with bitcoin / alt-coin exchanges. Some of the exchanges, e.g BTC China, has been taking direct deposits into their bank accounts from customers wanting to buy bitcoin.
While some will say bitcoin has gone on sale, we could all be in for a bit of a rough ride.

Maybe someone could explain why, when mining with the GPU only, the hash rate is abou 880-900 khash, and when I add the CPU mining I see the GPU rate drop to 810-820 khash?
If I close minerd, the GPU jumps back to original hash rate in a few seconds
If you are using all CPU cores , you will have lower hash rate on gpu. I use 7 out of 8, and dont have problemIf I close minerd, the GPU jumps back to original hash rate in a few seconds
Cool, how do you select 7 out of 8 cores?

Well that's what happends when 80% focus is on back-end with no marketing in a high pace development environment.
I agree with you, but then, this is a community-driven coin where most of the work is done by volunteers. So feel free to step up.
I issued the importance of marketing a couple of 10's pages ago but with 0 response to the post.
I have mined since before GPU and still mining it. I also pointed around 0.5Gh/s to support the mining of DRK.

Not try to shame them but really this needs to be pointed out. Dakrcoin isn't an old coin, it is just 2 months since release. Instead of letting it grow and mature, they are just raping the source by doing this.
