Security alert!
There was someone advertising https://github.com/DashNode/NodeMiner/ as an easy way to setup nomp pool node on your Windows machine using Java and earn Dash.
We checked the binaries and the only job it was doing is downloading some suspicious executable which mimics as an audio driver and placing it in Startup folder (see full path on screenshot below).

We think it's a malicious software which can try to steal you funds, so we reported the user to github.
We received confirmation that user is under investigation by github staffs now:
His account was disabled/deleted from github few hours ago.
We also dropped all related threads on dash.org/forum and /r/dashpay. User who posted this link on dash.org was banned.
If you already downloaded this, please run complete antivirus scan and consider this computer compromised from now.
We don't know if it has keyloger inside or what else this exe can do (copy itself, block files etc) but expect the worst case, so do not enter wallet password on this machine until you are pretty sure it's clean! Restore wallet.dat on another clean machine if you need to move funds urgently.

I'm a grown man and for the first time in many years, I cried today.
Some of you may remember me as a very early adopter of, "Darkcoin". At one point, I owned about 10% of outstanding coins and gave away thousands to help jump start things.
Somewhere along the way, for various reasons, I stopped believing in DASH. What a huge fucking mistake that was.
So here I am. I am here to apologize for getting it wrong and to congratulate each of you (especially Evan) for sticking with DASH and getting it right.
I have a pit in my stomach because if I would have been smart, my little boys would never have to take out a loan for college when that day comes. And yet I fucked up. Big time.
Hopefully this post allows me to one day forgive myself for being so fucking stupid and short sighted.

.... Speechless. We tend to forget at time the human face behind all this. Like you I probably owned nearly 10% back then to. I cry thinking about where I would be today. Certainly I've maintained enough sizeable holdings that I've done extremely well...reading your post puts into perspective how lucky I've been.

i remember MyFarm, he is an honorable guy..i remember during the time when Darkcoin stole Dashcoins name...he tried to make things right for Darkcoin, he even placed a buy order on poloniex for Dashcoins, i think that was the time when he left Darkcoin..
there a still many promising projects out there where you can make money..good luck MyFarm
