I cannot believe monero is going so high this is beyond crazines and alphabay fraud and money laundering...what dash is doing here? I need to see some development around and exept this i need to see dash to seperate its price as monero is doing.. So when btc goes up dash should go up aswell not get dumped to adapt btc price this is not competition with btc this is following btc .

Nice to see that the Dash project collected a lot of smart and active people around (in 2016 I met with many "Dash-people" personally).
There was a lot of work In 2016, and platform for a reliable start into the future was created. Thanks to everyone who took part in it!
2017 promises to be even more interesting for Dash - join us!

No need to worry, my friend. We are just where we want to be. I wish all the best to our competitors, and I'm sure they will have the upper hand on us many times before it's all said and done. However, there is only one project right now that has a solid value proposition and has the tools to implement it. So, while we will get kicked in the teeth from time to time, keep your focus squarely on the long term and I know you won't be disappointed. Enjoy the speculational roller coaster for now.

we have setup a dash pool and need testers ...
not just for the pool - but also for the new custom stratum that was build specifically to handle ALL the pools in our system ...
its unique and very well built by the maestro in stratum and backend builds - and one of the best devs in his field in my humble opinion ...
the pool main address is - http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/ ... you will find dash in the list ... or go directly to the pool - http://pool.chainworksindustries.com/dash/ ...
this pool is part of the cwi pool system - and sso is implemented ... so we are testing the sso ( single sign on ) setup ... the sso is based on the setup for the granite pool - but once you setup here on the dash pool ( within the coming week ) all the pools will have your single setup ... this is why we need to test the pool before we pull any of these pools out of 'alpha' designation ... when out of 'alpha' and into 'beta' then full 'production' designations - the colours of the pools will change accordingly ...
currently - we are only using and setting one port ( 8004 ) for the mining to take place ... this new stratum starts low and quickly adapts to the hashrates that the miners push into it ... hence the reason only one port is used and not two or three for hidiff or lodiff stratums ... though it can be setup quite easily if the need does arise for such other ports to exist ...
so to mine when - please register ( it is an mpos pool ) - setup your 'workers' in the pool - place your miners parameters - and fire away ...
any help will be appreciated with debugging through this mining period - as we will have a full solid pool to mine from once the any bugs are squashed ...

The history of this coin speaks for itself. The dev highly respected and keeps innovating thats why Dash keeps growing. This is one of the first coins I ever bought.
I agree completely. The numbers speak for themselves, but fuders are going to do what they do to prop their own investments.

Good thing Dash is not a Proof of Stake coin and never will be one, which makes any comparison to Proof of Stake coins wearthless.
Dash is and will always be a Proof of Work coin .. sure at some point after Dash Evolution the Proof of Work will be upgraded to Proof of Work 2.0
but there will always be an incentive for both miners and masternodes to operate in Dash.
I even think in a few years Dash will have the strongest PoW network on the planet, by-passing both Bitcoin and Ethereum's number of active full nodes
and making scalability much less a problem for Dash in the future.
The growth of active masternodes (full nodes) will also excellerate exponentially once Dash Evolution is out, with its decentralized masternode shares program.
Never underestimate the power of having blockchain identifyable saving accounts available, in a time of decreasing global banking interest rates (with my bank its currently at 0.9%).
Also never underestimate the economics at play in Dash and its Masternode Network : a lower number of active masternodes will increase the masternode rewards, which will attract new
masternode buyers.

Morning, qwizzie. It's fine to see that DASH's community -- as suggested by Masternode distribution -- is not one-country-centric; that there are so many nodes in Europe, which shuurrrrrlleee gotta see an increase in adoption as the Eurozone crumbles . . . and
. . . and lil ol' Australia has 57 Masternodes! Niiiiice.
australia itself has more much than that ...
its just that a lot of the nodes and systems are based offshore in datacenters all over the world ...
so they dont 'look' like they are here - but are definitely australian owned
