A friend and I are reviving this coin and using it as a currency between us two. I'm actually somewhat glad this died.

as a currency between you ? trading what ? what is the value you are giving it ?
Oh, we've taken the Dijkstracoin software and started using it as a tool for trading with each other. I thought it'd be fun to try so we did it. We aren't really giving it a true value because it's constantly being mined on our own blockchain. Our 'price' rather changes as it inflates.
EDIT: Oh, and we're trading anything we'd normally exchange. (Video game and internet goods/services)

I never really understood this scrypt coin anyway...
well diff always in 340 since launch looks like onlymining worked since launch may be dev have all coins......... POW must be done very soon.....
so you think the dev mined all the coins himself ?!
