HOW TO FIX DOGECOIN FORK:

1. dogecoin-qt update to 1.3 download link https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/releases/download/v1.3/dogecoin-qt-v13-Win.zip
2. go to windows start menu and in search type %appdata% go to roaming directory and DOGECOIN in (~AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin\blkindex.dat)
3. backup your wallet.dat file
4. delete old "blkindex.dat"  (in ~AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin\blkindex.dat)
5. start new dogecoin-qt and the blockchain from correct fork will download
6*. check if your mining pool use 1.3 version if not switch to other updated pool

enjoy!

Better is delete whole directory "database", and files "blk0001.dat", "blkindex.dat" and "peers.dat"

After it get synced, compare with http://dogechain.info/chain/Dogecoin block number, difficulty and hashrate.

I am on block 42334. Is it the correct one?
No. 42641 is.

What do i need to do? I deleted the blkindex.dat now im waiting for sync but i have a feeling i get the same blocks

You must wait until it get synced. Then you can find on dogechain http://dogechain.info/chain/Dogecoin correct last block number.

^aww fuck beaten

Estimated Total Blocks: 42601

Am I on the correct block?
in help>debugwindow>console, type in "getmininginfo"

ur shit is unfucked if your shit looks like ^^^ e.g. blockx 42xxx, difficulty 2xx.xxx etc.

if the difficulty is really tiny, then you're on the short chain.  at that point, set your thermite charges and nuke your mom's basement from orbit.  it's the only way to be sure.

Thanks! I will report back after it resyncs!

If you super-cool pool admins all claim you are on the correct fork. Then tell all the users how they can find out, if there client is. Do something for the community. You make enough money from fees.
+1 this is true  (if only i hadn't 'ignored' all of them)

My 1.3 clients sync under OS X 10.9.1. Tested on my three systems (new Mac Pro, MacBook Air, Mac Mini Server).
hmm, thanks... I've got mid 2010. Have to find out what's wrong with mine then... also hope to get some replies from devs on github too.
try repairing permissions?
yes, already done but no luck  Sad

Those forks are bad.

Stop using your client and send DOGEs until you have real proof that you are not in wrong chain. Even with 1.3 client.
Predseda4D: Then write how people can test, they are in the correct chain.

Compare information from client with http://dogechain.info/chain/Dogecoin - diff, hashrate and blocknumber.

More info can be found on Reddit: http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1ufl1e/much_concern_dogecoin_block_chain_has_split/

And list of forked pools: https://pay.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/1ufozq/forked_pools/
