gonna stop watching this for a while, I bought in @ 66, and while everyone says it'll go back up in a few months, we'll see. If not, I'm only out 1.23 BTC, but watching the price every 10 minutes is gonna drive me nuts

Difficulty adjusting algo can be changed to counter multi pools. Its called "anti multi pool patch" or "anti flash mining patch". Some scrypt coins already have, DOGE will get it sooner or later.

By 2015 the price could be 1000 a coin because no new coins will be produced, the multipool miners are in control of the price now, meaning it will keep going on a downward trend until
the block rewards are finally halved. This occurs around April sometime.

what is the advantage or purpose to spend so much doge coins to hold the price down for days and days at a time?
to control enough dogecoin to initiate and control a pump-and-dump. dogecoin has been manipulated before, so there's no reason to think it isn't now. doge market cap can't prevent any number of whales from doing this. at least it will get dogecoin back in the news cycle.

All we now that many users are mnig for profit so guys like middlecoin ext...
They mine a lot and they sell. I see that Difficulty has big variety. Net jumps from 20 GHs to 30 GHs.
We are mining about ~500 000x60x24 Daily with current price 0,000 000 56 That gives value about ~400 BTC / day
And there is only 25 BTC mined in 10mins... So in mid-long term don't expect BooM.
Guys from multipools won't keep long their coins they pay daily income in BTC that mean price will fall no mater what we will do at this stage.
Everyday is sold out about ~100M (Only on Cryptsy) that mean we need 54 BTC every day investments.
While i am writing that wall is about 44 BTC
only.In short therm price would go down even about ~20-30 Statoshi we produce a way more that market can handle at this point
but in the future who knows...I think price will go up easy at low prices big investors will buy many coins then they can go and open some cools stuff

but when that young people will grow up they will use allso Doge because they use to use it

its not really a buy wall. well its a wall but its not a single person. I have been watching this for 3 days now. someone is holding doge as low as possible. check the sell history hundreds and hundreds and probably thousands of sells at 56 for 2000-10000 doge. Over and over and over again. If the price spikes he adjusts a little and sells 2000 doge at 58 or 59 keeping the price from growing naturally. then slowly ticks it back down to 56 again over a few hours.
the reason I don't think it is a true buy wall is this. I think a lot more people are starting too see how many coins can be made making micro trades at these very low levels. for instance for the past 2 days I have been selling all my doge at 57 and then immediately buy them back at 56, doing that with 500,000 doges nets around 2k profits I think. Below 100 satoshis small variations in price can net large profits. 50-52 satoshi is only a 2 point spread but that is still 4%. after the buy and sell fees you still net 3.5% profit for selling at a 2 satoshi price difference.
With who ever it is holding the price at 56 for so long the only way to make any money on doge day trading is to try to sell 1 satoshi over at 57 and buy back at 56. So I don think the buy walls are true walls so much as dozens or hundreds of traders trying to capitalize the only way possible with whoever this person is holding the price down.
