It can take up to 3-5 minutes to importprivkey. I did 4 yesterday and it it averaged about 3 min. per key. The one with the most doge took almost 5.

When the number of blocks in the chain reaches 100 000 (so far we have mined a bit over 23K blocks). This should happen roughly 52 days from now.

Due to the nature of how difficulty calculation vs the hashrate works, it tend to be a bit on the sooner than later side. A sudden spike in hashrate will produce a lot of blocks before the difficulty can retarget.

IMO that's one of its virtues. There will be plenty of coins for everybody to have a few thousands. People like having 10k of something rather than 0.0001 of something else, even if the value is the same. It's not the same to say: hey, I got 0.05 BTC in my wallet as: hey, I got 100k DOGE. Psychology is an important factor here, as most people are driven by feelings and emotions.
